No More Downloading??

An article I found just now on The Star Online...

NEW LAW TO END ILLEGAL DOWNLOADING

KUALA LUMPUR: The free-and-easy days of illegal downloading of music and movies may soon be over. A proposed new law will enable Internet Service Providers (ISP) to suspend or terminate the Internet accounts of P2P (peer-to-peer) users.

This new law called the ISP Liability act, will be tabled in Parliament next month, according to Recording Industry Association of Malaysia (RIM) chairman Norman Halim.

RIM has been lobbying the Government for an ISP Liability act for the past 5 years as illegal online downloads have been cannibalising the legitimate sales of music, worldwide.

“The act makes the ISPs responsible for curbing online piracy. The ISPs will be fined if they don’t take action against illegal downloaders. The ISPs have the technology to track P2P users,” said Norman.

However, he said that the fine amount had yet to be determined.

ISPs will send two warning letters to illegal downloaders. Should the downloaders still persist, the Internet access will be suspended or even terminated.

“Other countries that have such an act have seen their respective music industries recover. One good example would be South Korea,” he said.

If this really happens ah I think I'm gonna be really pissed off.... is it destroying the movie industry and the music industry??? I don't think so... they seem to be getting richer by the days and those countries like Africa that don't download, is still poor...

If that fella is complaining about the Malaysian Movie/Music industry not doing well.... well.... cause it's Malaysia??? Honestly if you'd ask me when I visit a music/video shop I would never take a second glace at a malaysian album or movie... even when going to the Cinema it would never dawn upon my mind to think "which local movie should I watch today??"

Not my fault.... you're fault for not making better local music or movies that I can be proud of... yet you make movies that makes me wanna hide my face

Cicakman is a great local example...

Ahh then again.... honestly la, if the chairman can make a statement like that, It must mean that he's earning like mad that's why don't have to do piracy... then again, he might even order his servants to go out and buy DVD somemore... what about normal people like us???

Ahhh don't know la, either way would it really happen?? Or would it be like one of those promises that the politicians promised?? Better public transport, more fair lifestyle, better systems, etc~~~ either way I'm not putting my faith in them... wanna follow South Korea?? At least they have enough money and power to challenge North Korea if they fight them, we barely even have enough firepower to even come close to defeating Singapore -_-"

Hotmail Brags

you know if you think about it.... Hotmail can be quite the cocky fella....

Why do I say that??? Well I guess it can be kinda simple in some ways when you see it clearly.... but one thing that captured my attention every time...

spam mail

yeah, and that always appears in the Junk Folder in Hotmail most of the time right???? and that's cause they've labeled those spam mail as.... well junk mail~~~
if you see here, well there's an example of 122 spam mails in my junk folder... in case you can't see it you could always click on the picture for a larger view I think???

Either way.... I've censored the mail because some of it isn't meant for those below 18 to see, especially since this is a family-friendly blog that's public for the world to see~~

But..... just click select all and delete all, such a bothersome thing to see all these spam mail that's for sure... but after deleting every single mail.... then this comes on~~
a little message then pops on saying...

"You don't have junk here (hooray!) - Microsoft Smart Screen is working to keep it out of your inbox, too."

Yeah right la!!!! Like you did anything like that, I had to delete all those mail myself and here you come popping out and getting all the credit -_-"

Working somemore.... Hotmail ah.... sometimes I wonder how you work wan.... honestly -_-"

Two More Days

Somehow I just found this to be pretty cool~~~ XD

Ahhh, that was a crazy week, and a crazy weekend, with all the amount of assignments due.... along with Graduation Salute, then had one day to prepare my sermon for today.... somehow thank God I've managed to survive ~~ =)
was like a total war-zone in the college lo, fighting with assignments and studies....
then came times of crazy studying of the Hebrew language (note the 3rd hand)
and the exam was dead, hard.... as in seriously hard, never felt like fainting in an exam before.... worse was there wasn't any objective questions, too much theory and stuff.... till I almost went crazy to want to answer the question like this.... but I'm too afraid to fail.... ah sigh....
either way.... just two more days of hard work, then I'll be set free for a month..... gotta treat myself to all that hard work.... whew....

till then.... work harder a bit more la ~~ gambateh~ =)

I wanna go for a movie too... hmm... =)

China Day 2

Day 2 of China Trip.....

Ahh yes if you were wondering about the top picture, well I'm not the tallest guy ever in the world, but then again, if you're below the height of 1.4m, you get to take most rides free, so it's sort of the the awesome thing too in some ways =P

Either way~~ =)

The day began with a drinking of water, Wahaha water.... sounds odd but it makes me laugh~~

"Wahaha"
here's the toilet door in our room, seems to have exploded so we put the tissues in to block you from peeping... though it's really useless but better then nothing I guess...

We bought bread from the little shop downstairs, just a simple breakfast, and headed off towards the train station~~
erm... wow....

welcome to China?? But nothing surprising la, since there's people traveling from one place to another every single day by train and stuff, because their transport system is really, really really reliable~

unlike here..... *pooi*
went to buy some stuff, and here's the 1RMB they returned... looks fake O.o
this is the only picture I got of the train because the whole process of running into the train with the enormous crowd is really a life-changing experience =p
within the train... the seat is awesomly nice to sit~~ lots of room for the legs, for a country with too much people, they really know how to make a train~~

They serve food in the train too~ fruits also.... mmmm..... welcome to China, in Malaysia.... cheh.....
Then the view outside is wonderful too.... lots of greenery, and the country/village view~~
Wasn't long till we arrived at our next destination~~
Welcome to Shanghai~~

major huge railway station, and this is the one on the southern side... wonder how the northern one looks like???
Of course this isn't a sight to behold, because you would see lots of people sleeping all over the place, sort of like free hotel, and free aircon in some ways~~ not surprising to see an old man walking around carrying his little bed with him, then he'll drop it on the ground, and then sleep~~
Then we had to change a train, lots of people, lots and lots....
on the way..... oh~ pirated Guardian =P

Another China thingy~~
here comes the metroline or whatever LRT you call it train, also... much faster than KL's one....

Another point for them....
Got girl on train~ take picture with her XD
then we arrived at Shanghai~~

lots of people, lots of shops, lots of crazy prices... whew!!!

But rather we were dragged away to go on a next destination, no shopping~~~ then arrived at a rather interesting station~~
terra cool wei their policemen XD
It was nearby one of the famous tall towers in Shanghai, China.... we were supposed to go up there for a visit.... unfortunately.... you see the 3 huge balls??? They only have tickets for the first two balls, and the third one (highest one) is sold out so....

because of that, China friend didnt' wanna go up -_-

he said he wanted us to have the best view.... but I really didn't care if we could get the best view of not though...
so we just went around nearby to take some pictures... super wide road~~
take some pictures all around the area
even in a city area like Shanghai, they do know how to control traffic with huge huge roads.... not like KL again....

yes... another point.... -_-"

Now I remember, because we didn't go that tower, we ended up going to the Aquarium in Shanghai.... and I forgot to upload pictures of the Aquarium.... mmmm..... ah well -_-"

Next, it was evening, and then friend was taking us to his friend's house to stay the night~~
their taxi has a touch screen in the back seat.... so you can check out the happening tourist attraction places... wow...
they even have a protective barrier for the driver.. hmm....

well when we arrived at his friend's house....erm... oh man... o.o
they served us 8 dishes, and only 6 of us were eating.... it's really a lot.... also, check out the size of their Pepsi bottle.... ki siao big big big

one thing about China culture.... if you are a guest in their house, they will feed you like mad, the amount of dishes in a meal can go up to 12 dishes, imagine that for breakfast... O.o

well.... the place we stayed next was an interesting thing....
it was the underground room of the house.... and to some it might freak you out because of the small space and only one light source and fan... etc etc....

when we asked the question "Where's the toilet?"

He handed over to us a bucket.... oh wow... good thing I went outside to piss and didn't have a stomach ache =p
the only toilet was upstairs, over there, without a door... only way to cover was using the curtains.... and at that moment they had a lot of friends and relatives over, siting together and talking beside the toilet...

talk about cultural shock and stress when you're bathing and over the other side of the curtain you can see shadows of people over there, I had a stomach ache then too.... urrrrh....

Overall... that was day 2 ~ XD

China Trip 2010!! Day 1

Shall... erm... finally blog about my China trip that I had in August~~~

You know I was thinking over this for months "should I blog about my trip?" because of the 60GB amount of pictures that was taken (not including videos) so I had second thoughts about it.... but then again, would be a total waste to not brag about my first trip overseas in the last 9 years... yes I have not gone overseas for 9 years, that even includes going to Singapore~~

Either way... haha well I'll do my best, would be better to break this all into a few post because too much for a single post... so shall blog day by day on what happens and stuff~~~

To begin, we had an early flight... so had to be in the airport around erm... I think about 6am or something... go too early, decided to have breakfast..
then to find out the crapping horror of the price of just a tuna bread in the airport.... siao ah these people -_-"
after awhile of waiting... finally could go up to the plane....

and for me I kinda went berserk with taking pictures... forgive me, I'm just a little too excited about this~~

somehow people asked me why nobody stopped me from taking pictures?? Because I think this is something illegal or some sort...?? Don't know..... scared people will create a pirated airport??
Wasn't long before we begun to fly.... somehow my parents have been telling people that I have a fear of flying... actually I am not sure but since they kept saying, I think I've convinced myself about it....

But now with a camera.... ahh screw it la, I want the window view~~ XD
Good bye Malaysia....super messed up wei the roads -_-"

a 5 hour flight.... and the chairs aren't the best...
but she seemed to have slept well...
viewing friend's camera pictures... ugly dog wei -_-"
well wasn't long.... then we were above China skies~~ China has better clouds I think~

Even the roads are so... organized~~

Heh.... well this was the scary part... when they suddenly announced:

"We'll be landing shortly"

then suddenly there was this loud sound

BOOM!!!!!

and we were all like "WHAT THE CRAP!?!?!?" and looked outside...... wahlao... good thing the wing is still there, not sure what is it but when you're thousands of feet in the sky and when a boom sound happens... it's not a pretty sight.....

Landing was really rough too... I thought I'd never make it alive =.=

Either ways... whew... welcome to China~~
well their timezone is the same as ours.... saves the hassle of changing my watch time =)
After picking up our bags and stuff, went to buy a bus ticket~~ and watching how these people enjoy life on the massaging chair~~

is it really that good???
After quite some time on the bus, we got off and then we had to walk quite a distance to the Hangzhou's largest train station~~ yeah the huge building in the distance~~
of course this picture was too interesting I couldn't help myself XD
anti missile motorbike =)
then after that.... stayed in a motel nearby the station~~
Not the best, but you can't complain but be happy for a place to stay =)

then stomach growling.... time for lunch~~ =)
we had 牛肉拉面 which is beef noodles... but the noodles is specially made on the spot where they twist and pull and some sort~
Of course if you've noticed there's barely any beef inside there... but the noodles itself can make you very full already...
then this was the drink I instantly fell in love with immediately after trying it out.... Ice Green Tea with lemon.... what would they think of next??? XD
Then had my first China products experience in a 1RMB shop... pirated colgate =p
next destination... went on a bus~~ and watching the culture through a window.... this is rather dangerous don't you think???
colored bikes~ =)
we then stopped off to this nearby park... I thought was like some old traditional thing...
Then again... love knows no boundaries nor shame XD
when we saw the park... erm.... wow?? O.o
waterlillies as far as the eye could see~~ but too bad it isn't in season if not it would've been a great view~~

you know.... for a park it's really awesome lo..... so far compared to Malaysian parks -_-"
a whole bunch of flying birds~~
Just join in the fun =)
and the river is filled with these.... erm... moss-like thingy~~ oh so wonderful XD
then had a small toilet break.... the structure is just so awesome O.o
along with these stonning people
when we came to this part... the view was..... awesome O.o

looks like what you could see in movies!!!

but at this part I was quite tired from all the walkin... time to lie down and take pictures~~
this was the best I could go XD
stone stone~~
Did I tell you that the temperature was 38c?? which is crappingly hor.... especially since there is no movement in the air, it's stale and..... dry... humid.... very hot...
you'll see quite a number of people in the park
it's a common thing also seeing people cycle.... there's hundreds of them all over the place cycling...
of course I forgot to change the camera settings so couldn't capture a straight shot.... but wanted to show you all the little doggie on his bicycle =p
Friend wanted to bring us on a boatride... to visit an ancient temple over the lake.... but the temple was closed, and they are over-charging us for the boat... so... no ride~
part of their parks are filled with.... tombstones... with famous people whom I have not heard of before...
even this is a tomb, not the man... but the round thing behind me.... you could see a tomb in almost every corner of the park, with so much people in China.... so many historical characters, this felt more like a graveyard than a park already....
with the weather being so hot.... I was coming so close to wanting to go nude.... as in... seriously....
then the sun begun to set~~

and friend had something for us to see, so we rented bikes.... (better than almost going naked when walking)
you could rent bikes all over the place, because with a culture that barely drives cars, they seem to be enjoying the cycling part~~
but with the bicycle feeling so short.... I had my doubts that it could hold me...
so we went to the other corner of the park.... where they had this musical water shooting thingy...
so it's just water shooting out with music in the background.... but this isn't my cup of tea because I've recently downloaded a musical fountain video to watch XD
at this moment.... somehow I felt very tired, very dead, kinda like sick in some way.... maybe the weather??? But I just felt like wanting to go back to the motel and crash.... but can't.... dinner time....

all the weird food =p
somehow China people especially love chicken feet...... if you're a chicken and if you have feet... stay away from China O.o

After that... time to return the bikes.....
with the time being at around 8pm like that... it's still crapping hot.... look at the sweat O.o

Whew.... back to the station, to buy train tickets, because we'll be going to Shanghai early in the morning...
people all around the station...
while lining up =)
after this part I was too tired to take any more pictures.... so when we got back to our rooms.... just crashed after taking a bath.... whew.... too much for a first day~~~ hoping that the next day' weather would be better in some ways... =)

either way.... that's day one of China trip.... a long day indeed~~~
