design graphic: Camera: Weapon or Equipment?

Ahh the Camera... is it just an equipment... or a weapon?? 0.0

A good question to ask indeed... well... mainly a camera would be used to aim and take a picture, but people would like to use the term

"FIRE THE SHUTTER!!!"

Doesn't mean you shoot the window or door.. but they mean to just press the button to take the picture, also known as the shutter button~ thus the fire button also makes people mistake it to be a weapon...

Why do people also think it to be a weapon??

Well... some people call the camera a "BAZOOKA" not that it can fire missiles or win the War against the terrorist... but they mean because of this~

The thing on the far right is the camera, and the white thing is the camera lens, big indeed, let's not even mention the weight~ I think that guy can even put his head inside..

There's also some other term which I forgot... maybe calling it a flash bang grenade or something?? not quite sure... but it's mainly cause of the few hundreds of watts flashing at your eyes directly that can kinda blind you... what is this we're talking about??

Yeap... an external flashgun~ also known as a speedlite, I think... too much names for it~ this is a Nikon D60 with a SB-900 flash, one of the biggest flashes from Nikon, packs a power, and I think it'll surely do a miracle in blinding the person's eyes temporary...

I pity those models on stage posing with hundreds of flash firing at them... wonder if they have shades for contact lens to protect them?? So you can't blame celebrities if they wear shades even at late night, cause it's to protect their eyes... either that or they just wanna look cool~~

Ahh... a tripod also, meant to keep the camera steady, maybe even your house? -_-"

They come in different looks, sizes, shapes, weight, which can even be kinda useful in a fight~ but mainly they serve a wonderful purpose of keeping your camera steady throughout the whole shooting to give you that wonderfully steady and sharp picture XD

Maybe in 20years time they could make a stabilizing technology for the lens to have a steady shot even if you hold the camera for 20minutes... but till then, a tripod makes me happy~ =)

Though I'm trying to prove that a camera and all those other stuff are not weapons... but looking clearly.. at the size and how well built they are maid to handle any bangs on walls, any weather conditons... they're really solid you know!??!?! Kinda makes me wonder now if they can be made for war...??

I guess if camera's were made into weapons it would be used like this~~

Camera - Take a picture of your enemy so can show everyone so they will know who to bash up

Lens - Swing it around randomly and you'll be sure it'll knock someone out more effectively than a baseball bat

Flash - Use it to temporary blind your enemies so you can escape, or bash them up

Tripod - Kinda like a stick I guess... or you can use it's sharp edge point like a sword?? Swing bash and slash your enemy =)
