Life Is A Mystery

Life is filled with mysterious things sometimes...

and it kinda makes you wonder how do some things happen~~
Like how I woke up finding out that I have this red mark on my arm... wonder if someone punched me in my sleep....??
Then after Chapel finding this sand pile in the distance with the words BCM on it...
Plus it's so nicely done... 0.0

I myself can't and never did create a beautiful art work out of sand cause they keep on breaking down in front of me, but this is so wonderfully carved ~

A gift from the heavens....???
Not to mention the dead fish in the fish tank I saw.... it just stood like that... O.O
And the way the lips are nicely above water level, makes you wonder if it's gasping for air...??

Life is filled with so much unsolved mysteries and questions~~

But I guess trying to find out the answer for those things is what makes life interesting~ =)

Now I'm really wondering who hit me... -_-"

Japan Has Done It Yet Again... O.O"

Japan has done it again... and I think this is crazy~~ 0.0

Been seeing a lot of these Gundam pictures lately over Flickr... after observing a few of them, they all had the similar title of "Life Sized Gundam" so I thought maybe must be another few people who put their Gundam Models and then take a picture with it close up making it look like it's really huge but actually it's just a fake picture in the end... =P

Then I thought of searching it up in the internet... then.... my gosh!!! O.O"
woah...?
ehhh...???
eeee!?!??! OoO"""

Supposily this is really... REAL!?!?!?!?! O.O"
After reading articles on it... then only realized that this 59-feet full 1:1 scale Gundam is found at the Gundam Crisis attraction at Fujikyu Highland. Why did the Japanese become so free to do this??? Well just to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the mecha anime/manga/toy/video game franchise, this 18-meter-tall (59-foot-tall) Gundam RX-78 has been erected.

Part of the "Mobile Suit Gundam 30th Anniversary Project," the structure in Odaiba's Shiokaze Park will stay up for only two months and be built from fiberglass-reinforced plastic over a steel frame and coated in a layer of awesomeoness.

Fifty points on the Gundam statue will emit light, and mist will shoot out of 14 different points on the statue. The 1/1 scale Gundam boasts a moveable head and a continuous stream..... wooooaaahhhh....

This is the largest Gundam statue ever constructed in Japan. In the 1990s, a 33-foot-tall LM312V04 Victory Gundam was constructed. There is also a fan-made 23-foot-tall 1/3 scale MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam in Japan. Though, this isn't the first time a life-sized Gundam has been created.

Back in 2007, a 1/1 scale Gundam was built for Fuji-Q Highland amusement park at the foot of Mt. Fuji; however, this statue did not stand upright and was built lying down on the floor.

Staring this July, it will be possible to view the 59-foot-tall Gundam free of charge. No kidding, some folks will just look out their window...
Supposily they built it first in some underground place,
and took them only TWO DAYS to finish building it... that's fast... 0.o
Why the wires??? Will get there in a minute!!
And of course they have to do alot of maintenance work to it.... hmmmm =)
Here you can see the workers going up there to maintain it... and without a safety harness, and just standing on the Gundam... makes you know that it's not just cheap plastic... it's hard!! =)Opening up the hatch??? Wonder if he's going to pilot it~ =P
But yeah they've made it in such a way that even at the late night the lights will shine upon it and displaying it's majesty, I think that's why the wires are used for... to even light up the Gundam's body and head... 0.0I think the head can move...???

but yeah... it's just gonna be up there for 2 months... arrgh...

Anyone wanna go Japan now!??!?! Bring me along!!!!! XD
Wonder if they'll make a Freedom Gundam in their next project... that would be wicked~ XD

Suddenly I feel inspired to buy a Gundam =)

Ahhh Japan... a crazy yet wonderful place.... wanna visit there soon =)

Canon DSLR Picture Styles Download

Specially for Canon DSLR users... =)

having alot of friends now that's using Canon DSLR's~ but most of them aren't using the camera to it's full potential~ =P

It's good to learn about the settings of the camera, but you specially shouldn't forget one of the most special functions of your Canon DSLR, which is the Picture Styles~~ =)
Though you already have 6 pre-set picture styles... but... haha go to this website!!

And download the additional few other picture styles here~ then download those files into your camera, boosting it's capabilities and your creativity to capture pictures with more impact and color!! =)

Why picture styles and not just take a normal picture then photoshop it??

Well if your like me, always lazy to photoshop and prefer the picture to come out looking perfectly, then picture styles is good, saves your time in post processing, and of course you can also photoshop a little more extra to give your pictures a little more oomph =)

Here's the example of the difference in different Picture Styles~~
I think you can click on it to view larger... =)

There's also a Picture Style editor where you can personally create your own picture style, like this photographer I've seen on flickr that does not do any post processing but just uses his own personally made picture styles and my goodness his pictures are magnificent!! wish I could show it here for you all to see... but I think due to come copyright thingy, I've better not... 0.0

So I'm kinda exploring it too... something new to learn, yet something interesting =)
Either way, play around with those picture styles and create your own style in your image~!! XD

If you don't know where to download... -_-"

~Here's the Website Again~

Looking forward to see what kinda pictures will come out =)

Where Have I Been???

Whew =)

People have been asking me why they didn't see me in the Influence Conference last weekend, and I guess giving the excuse that I was there but too much people so you couldn't see me excuse doesn't seem to be working~ XD
But what if I said if I was there but hiding and taking pictures of you all secretly in the corner??? =P

But oh well... haha the truth shall come out~
Didn't go on Friday night because I was watching this movie with Wendy... and I can say it's a fantastic movie~!! It doesn't have all the blowing up actions but it's more of like a talking and psychological movie, so you have to pay attention throughout the movie and remember every thing they talk about because unless you hear it you wouldn't really understand what's going on~

So that means... no drinks in the cinema so you won't feel the urge to go toilet all of a sudden and miss the scene~ XD

But yeah Denzel Washington is a wonderful actor no doubt~ John Travolta isn't half bad too ~ great movie, go watch it now bah you =)
Surprisingly there's an old version of this movie.... maybe a remake of the original one?? But this one doesn't look that nice though... -_-"
Then after the movie we went for a Japanese meal... and I still can't really decide which picture to work on more... one with color...
Or without color... hmmm.... -_-"
She had Cha Soba... and I had Zaru Soba... whew, well I had an interesting learning session that time about fashion and stuff too... still kinda blur and outdated on it but... at least learned something from her XD

And I have no idea how time suddenly zoomed by so fast that suddenly it was really, really late... and yeah that was my Friday~

Saturday... why I didn't go.... because morning I had to go to church to work, then after that it was a suddenly last minute decision but was asked to lead worship for the youth service, and as much as I would've loved to go home and rest, or even join cousins for a trip to seremban or even visit the Influence Conference... I guess I have to give those up and lead worship, this is how the ministry is like sometimes, you just have to give up what seems important to you to be doing the ministry for a cause that's far bigger that what you want~ sad but... haha this is how things go sometimes =)

Sunday... because my uncle passed away... after the worship session in church then we had to go to his funeral, I feel really guilty for skipping service though... it's really a sad thing seeing another love one departing from this world, but eventually it's something we all have to face...

Shall not post the picture of my uncle, haven't known him long enough to get to know him better, but he was the one that blessed me with my first DSLR...
The Canon EOS 300D
And that helped me gain my interest in photography and helped me start out this interesting journey, so gotta thank him for that, and those he has passed away... but I don't think any of us would forget him easily, I surely won't, and would surely be reminded every time when I look upon this camera, so don't you all think I'll be selling it away =)

Either way... where he might be now I am not sure, but I do believe the grace of God goes beyond everything else ~ =]

And on the same day.. as sad as we might be for the lost of a life, but yet we can also rejoice...
for the fact that on the same day a wonderful friend has chosen to be baptized...
as a life was lost, yet another life was gain... praise God till the end =)

so yeah that was my weekend, there were good times and there were bad times, but I guess it's a solid enough excuse of saying why I wasn't at the conference ~~ XD

Got some mails and facebook messages asking me why I wasn't there taking pictures, especially on some of those GTPJ church events... erm... well one thing's for certain that I am not a member of GTPJ~ I'm from The Vineyard Church, and neither am I the official photographer for them, I'm just a little guy that's erm... donno how to say~ XD

And besides, the church is so blessed with so much talented people, I'm sure they have alot of other so much more pro photographers there to be taking pictures of the events =P

But yeah... kinda sad couldn't be there though, seeing some pictures from that event, I believe lots of you all had fun, haha well I pray that as much as you all have been blessed and touched by God, that you all would take back this little fire within your heart and keep on being an influence for others daily, we can all make the change if we try~ =)

God Bless

现在的时间是。。。

The time now... 3:41am

Usually at this time I think I might've already fainted on the laptop, or accidentally fallen asleep on the bed, or just have gone to bed and sleeping... but hey, the term is coming to an end, thus... due assignments are coming up~ and though we have a 2 weeks extension for the assignments.... those who can pass it up by Tuesday would get some extra points, and that's good enough to motivate me to pass up earlier~

Can't write an A paper, never could~ since most of the time I kinda mess up blogging style with assignments, and that could prove to be fatal~ but thank goodness I've overcame the weakness of writing things in short form like "YOU" to "U" and those other short forms that almost killed me in the past...

so for those who like to use short forms... well I guess you could use them in SMS-ing since the spaces are limited and if you were to write extra stuff you would be sending a two-part-sms which would cost x2 the amount~ but if your on the computer... do practice writing the full sentence, there's no limit and no fees for writing a long sentence, and it does help especially in typing assignments since I do see some friends writing short forms like "U" and "LUV" and other weird meaning subconsciously without them even noticing it because their too used to it... and that could cost them to get an E~~ =.=
BUT weirdly I am not feeling tired... not quite sure why, not sure if it's cause of the tea I had for dinner, don't think so... since I can drink anything and sleep, but I spit beer out since it's bitter to me -_-

And just had 4 cups of green tea... mmmmm =)
BUT on the other hand... I'm almost done with assignment... currently having 2016 words, and assignment is required for 3000 words~ so... less than 1000 words to go~!!! Still fully awake to continue on though... but I'm feeling lazy~ yes lazy XD

And since I did such a hard work... it's only fair to reward myself with a good bear hybernation nap that would last me till a late morning since no one else around you would reward you for something like that .. sad~

oh well... the time now... 现在的时间是。。。3:50am... bed time!!! =)

Good night XD

A Dream

I had the most interesting dream earlier...

If you are wondering what dream I have well that I can never tell it all since every night I have very weird and random dreams that goes beyond human knowledge and understanding but yet funny and interesting in different ways... so shall not write what my dream was...

BUT will zoom into a particular part of my dream where I was running back to the apartment (don't ask why) and on the way suddenly got lost in the forest and appeared in a beach where I saw the sunset was amazing beyond words and understanding... so I dropped my stuff, picked up my camera, adjust the settings, and while I was wanting to capture the picture suddenly this bunch of people started dancing in front of the camera like crows.. urrrgh...

awhile later they ran off... and only one remained, and that fella took off his cap, wah... suddenly the hair rolled down and wah it's a she??? 0.0

Then she swung her hair in the air... yes most of my dreams are dramatic, and woo that was a Japanese girl, and I started taking pictures of her while she was posing all over the place, wonderful indeed... =)

Then I wanted to talk with her... aw man you can't really imagine how bad the conversation went, I could barely understand what she was staying till I had to say

"私の日本語。。。" *Shakes hand*

And she understood what I meant and laughed.... then I woke up... =.=
Clearly the Japanese Class I took two years ago wasn't of much use at such a situation... I guess after a super long time being away from class, and studying my Japanese, and also not having anyone to communicate with in Japanese for such a long time... I'm starting to lose the language... man.... -_-"
I guess it's back to school again for me... hmm... =(

Good thing I still have my textbooks with me~ XD

Sadly but... yeah when I've got the time really gotta start picking up again on this language, would be sad to lose it especially on the day when I can FINALLY go to Japan again...

Ahhh Japanese girl... where are you!?? XD

Wait la when my Japanese better then go find her again~~ XD

but yeah for those who are interested in learning the basic ABC's of Japanese... here's a chart I used to use... very useful indeed =)
Hiragana is the local characters of the Japanese writing... and Katakana is more of for the writing for those stuff which is more ang mo type... sort of like for english and other stuff... oh well =)

Study when got the time XD

E-Team : Melaka

This post has been hanging around like the others, but I guess since the internet speed is kinda okay today... so shall blog about this =)

Few weeks ago I was assigned into an Evangelism team heading to Melaka, in which our duty is mainly to help out the church service in whatever ways we can... etc... let's go!! =)

We reached there at evening, and it was a smooth journey, BUT we kinda missed the turning into Melaka and went a big round to U-turn back~
Then the church member took us to this some kinda place in Jonker walk for dinner~
What might you be???
Pig nosed birdnest!!

My dinner... the food wasn't half bad~ but forgot what's the name of the place, just know where it is...
then we had a walk around Jonker Walk, heard from SiangSiang that at night it's very happening especially on the weekends... mmm... big pasar malam, so much people~~

After that we went back to practice, and to rest up early~
Noticed that the apartment we're staying in... these people just love astro~ XD
In the morning Ps. Joanne took us out for DimSum... oh wow... 0.0
This is wonderfuL~ XD
Then we headed off to MMU Melaka~ to join their youths for this erm... some Melaka tour outing specially for those new term students of MMU... wow... of course not to play, but also to find the time if can to evangelise to a few of them

We went to some reserved forest, and they stopped first for the best Nasi Lemak in Melaka, I didn't wanna eat cause still full with the DimSum and scared the spicyness would result if erupting the vocalno within my stomach =P

Then they went on starting off by playing some games...

the first one... wooo....
The objective was to wrap up an egg with whatever resources we have
and throw them off this tower, well ours didn't break... so oh joy =)

Moving on to the second station...
Tiger Tamer

2nd game would be familiar to most others, in which we remember the names of all the people there...
Then they would drop the blanket and you have to guess the person on the other side~~
Of course they would end up making you to eat a biscuit and talk too which is wahhhh....

The 3rd station.... no pictures but bad memories.... so shall not talk about it... urrrgh.... =.=

4th station... this is really... really weird... 0.0
Chop open the watermelon...
And just eat, when you find the seeds put it inside a cup, the team with the most seeds wins... woorrrgh!!! 0.0

Didn't save any souls~ XD

But even so managed to talk one guy into going to church, of course he didn't turn up the next day... kinda sad thing though... but oh well~~

After that.... on to Jonker Walk!! Again~~

We made a stop by the Christian Muzium~

And we had our lunch... chicken rice balls....

Till now I still cannot understand what makes it so special, the taste is still the same just that it's in a ball shape~ I made all the rice flat and it came back to the normal portion of rice that we always eat ~~ but oh well it's a history =P

Kinda cheap too Rm4.50 and I'm very full~~ wooo =)
This is the cendol.. but not enough gula Melaka, so when it melted... aw man tasteless all the way!!! 0.0
This was our tour guide... awesome lady, her translating skills also powerful like mad~!! So passionate!! XD
This is the well they kept since 5-600 years ago... whooisheh =)

There's still water inside it, she said there are two fishes inside, but I stuck my head inside and couldn't find it at all... hmmm.... 0.0
Broken Pot??

The tour was really eye-opening... who would've thought that Melaka was filled with such a rich christian history too =)
China Friend was really interested too since his people are involved, but the indian friend was left out since no indians in the history~ XD

This is the man of the history~ Admiral Cheng Ho... don't wanna talk about his history... too long to write down here -_-"
After half way we were tired and went back to our apartment to rest, thus dumping the trip half way~ =P
The view outside our room... mmm there's a sea~~

And we planned head towards the sea for our dinner since there's a portugese thingy place there... but once went there... wahseh place is so run down, and there came alot of people kinda like pulling and pressuring us to go to their stall eat... arguing

No no miss, our one is the best, don't believe whatever that guy says!!!

And so forth... but ended up we went to Newton for dinner =)
Alot of variety~ price is okokok too...

once went back to the apartment... the guys decided to go for a swim... 0.0

0.0"
Plastic water~ XD

As Sunday came, it was time to work~~ and headed for City Community Church, Melaka~~
This is their stage, nice.. =)

But odd to find a pillar in the center of it~
First we've started off with the Chinese Service, the chinese students presented a song~~
And the China Stuent preached a sermon~
After that was the english service, and the kids went wild~ XD

Ps. Joanne

Sarah was in charge of taking care of the Sunday School...

As for me...?? Well I stayed back at the main service, sharing a testimony about my life~~
And also presented a song for them.... wahhh nervous siao I think was gonna faint anytime... 0.0

After that Ps. Wendy preached a sermon... a very good one indeed =)

After that, service was over!! and our duty still wasn't over... we had to sell off some BCM shirts, and pass around the college magazine~

Heh heh... hopefully some would be pulled into BCM soon ~ XD
After that... ps.joanne took us for Baba Nyonya food... aw man... haha it was amazing =)
This fish cost rm57... but it's so nice... =)

Well... after that we headed on our way home... it was a good experience, learned alot of things, and hopefully through us that that church was greatly blessed by God, it's a nice church though, very family-like and friendly... what I'm more amazed in that there are no church workers there... just very very willing hearts to help out whenever they have the chance... in which I am very amazed about it =)

Oh well... was chosen again to go for E-Team next term... not too sure how it'll go but... just look forward to it k =)
