Times When A Camera Phone is Better Than A DSLR

Sometimes a camera phone can easily beat a DSLR in alot of situations.... agree?? =)


Of course there's many arguments on how a camera phone sucks and how lousy the picture quality produces, and I can agree to that.... but sometimes it's not about capturing a high quality award winning picture, but rather a picture that just shows the message that you wanna bring out~~

Like for example....
Usually finding your dorm bathing place to look like this normally...
and one day suddenly finding out that someone has set camp there... if I was to run back to my room and bring our my DSLR I think I would've missed this shot when the person came to collect his stuff...
And during choir presentation when bringing a huge big DSLR would surely attract attention and distract others, it can be good to capture those little shots like your friends sticking lyrics on each other's backs just in case they forgot how to sing that song~~ =]

Well my phone is golden color so I think how also might attract some attending nevertheless... oh well =)
And at times when you wanted to be stealth like finding an aunty, I think she's in her 40's hogging two computers in the internet cafe and playing two accounts of Maple Story at the same time... the shutter sound would alert her and she might just tackle me... and my handphone is silent =)

Of course going up to her and taking picture of her face would be suicide...
This is my favorite~ this is my brother in law with my sister
And this is me finding a picture of someone that looks exactly like him 30years later in the newspapers~ everything happened too sudden to react, but a camera phone gives me the speed to capture that picture and send it for my sister to see... picture sharing is great =)

Until DSLR's can have the picture sending or bluetooth function... I guess the camera phone wins in this area

There's no denying that everything has it's good and bad's.... but just don't jump to a conclusion saying "I will never take pictures with my camera phone because it produces bad quality image"

but... erm... yeah sometimes it's not about the quality, but the message it brings inside =)

I guess I could kinda understand how some camera phone pictures can help them win in some photography competitions....

haha, what other things do you think a camera phone is better in?? =]

Oh yeah, and this doesn't mean I'm stopping to take pictures with my DSLR... not gonna give it away -_-"
