Camera-Packing

Sort of like Bag-Packing but doesn't require much packing, not sure if there is such a word or not, but I'll call it that anyway~~ for people who bag-pack, they just pack their stuff and go around traveling and exploring... I don't have that much time and money, so I just packed my camera and go travel around places to examine and take pictures, trying to see things from a different perspective, and also to try to improve my camera skills...

Never thought of doing a thing like this before, but last Sunday I made a trip to KL Timesquare to wanna buy myself a new lens, so... why not?? Since I've revived my mp3 player, and it's been awhile since I rode in a LRT, decided to relive the old days and travel around in the LRT~~ so thus begins an episode of Camera-Packing~

After church, took the LRT to stop and Hang Tuah station, and walked to TimesquareThis is the hotel section I think....

When that guy saw me he just turned and stood there side-ways waiting me to take then only walk -_-"

Inside Timesquare

Went around wanting to look for the lens, but they were out of stock... I read that they had an official Canon EOS store in Timesquare... but.... too big wei.... got lost!!! See directory also like never write wan... bluff people!!
The busy life of KL people...

Then I walked to LowYat Plaza, too much people there, too busy... so didn't take any pictures... went a shop where the shop owner told me last week that the lens cost Rm300... when went there they had a sale, asked him how much??? And he said "Rm450"

Siao wei... go around also all say Rm350... so much for sales...

Went Sungai Wang after that.... and this was the conversation when I went into the shop

SO (Shop-Owner) - Hello 先生，找什么啊？ Hello Sir, what are you looking for??

Me - 你有没有卖那个Canon 50mm 的lens吗? Do you sell the Canon 50mm lens??

SO - 哦! 当然有！Oh of course!!

Me - 几多？ How much??

SO - Rm399

Me - .......... Ok Thank you....

SO - 不要吗？ you don't want it??

Me - 不要咯。。 No thanks...

SO - 那么。。Rm377 怎样？ Then how about Rm377??

Me - 不要咯，谢谢。。 No thanks...

*Walks Off*

Siao wei... not much difference also still expensive.... then went another shop, the guy looks like ah beng.... ask him how much???

Beng - Rm 290

Me - Har??

Beng - Rm290

Then I just ask him to lemme check it out, then oklah buy~ no need to think~~ saved Rm60, not sure if he remembered the price wrong or not, either way just run off fast la!!! Was shy to try it out instantly so still used the regular lens I had~~ and... well it was late, time to go home!!!

The LRT as usual was always packed, but I'd always be the last one to leave cause my station is the last stop... but... oh well it's nice =)

Then had to wait for sister to come pick me up....

And we had an unexpected guest in the car...

Either way... I had a nice day, finally got myself a Portrait lens, 50mm with 1.8 Aperture (Think I spelled it right this time) which takes really good pictures!!! And for the price of Rm290... no regrets~ only problem with it is that it can't zoom out, so gotta step back for some shots... =)

Maybe I'll try another camera-packing this saturday... Bukit Jalil Stadium seems nice....

Kinda makes me wonder... should I call it camera-packing or photography-packing??? Hmmm...
