Opportunity in Dry Moments

After the CNY feel, not sure why but I had a moment where my photography just felt so dry...

Like I wasn't satisfied with my pictures, always wanting more and more, but just felt dry... like there's nothing to take pictures of already, felt like just running away to somewhere far so got some stuff to take picture of... but really, it all felt so dull and dry, till I went to friend's room... and saw this~
Not sure what this is, but I think must be those air purifier thingy's with the water spinning inside and changing different colors... I was amazed at it, and it just looked so nice with the color changing~ so rushed back to room, and started taking pictures of it!!
Turned off friend's room light for pure darkness, only seeing the light radiating from that little bottle thingy~
The red dots are those from the switch..

But thought if I used a slow shutter speed I could capture all the lights, but wondered why they all just came in white, so used a slower shutter to try out...
Hmmmm... interesting, with 2 seconds shutter it can capture the color
So I realized that a 2-3 second shutter is all that's needed~ So i wanted to try something new....

How did I make a few more of them??? Well knowing that it just took a few second shutter time to capture the color, I just made the time to 10 seconds, capturing a bit light from one, then move the camera a bit, so putting the light to absorb in a different direction, thus, making a duplicated image, and if I wanted to make more... well, just use a longer shutter~~

I know this is all just too confusing~~ but to make it simple~

Set the seconds, after few seconds (2-3sec) then move the camera a bit, to left or right, doesn't matter, then leave for a few seconds again, then move again~~

photography is interesting isn't it?? I feel refreshed all over again and back to life~!! Now I know that if things become dry, just go out and search for something to reinspire you once again, you might not know, it's just beside you now~~

And.... well I wanted to try to make different shapes with those lights, but then friend was giving me a weird look so.... yeah didn't take that much, shall try again if given the chance =)
