Ip Man - The Legend is Born

It crushed the hopes of an innocent young child XD



Now while everyone is still into the Ip Man and the Wing Chun craze... they've decided to come out with a new movie, this time focusing on the teenage years of the Kung Fu master Ip Man and how he became the master we know him to be now....


Of course they changed a whole new actor, the whole cast changed... sigh...

My thoughts about it??

Well the first half of the movie was good, the Wing Chun was real, and it looked good~~ very nice to watch, but at the second half, the whole thing turned into an action movie like, when he didn't use his fists anymore but sticks and stuff.... then can fly in the air, do a screw driver spin jump.... then it turned off for me.... -_-

Everything else looked so fake... ah sigh....

But then again.... everyone's expectations all came to the same conclusion...it's just not Donnie Yen~ XD

Since he's already set the super high standard in the past two movies... I guess it'll be hard to top that already though.... sigh sigh =)

THEN AGAIN....
Tony Leung would be playing the part in Ip Man also.... supposily coming out this year.... O.O
Most people would ask if he could even fight anot... that I am not sure, but I know that he surely is a fantastic actor, and now is working closely with Ip Man's son Ip Chun... whew..
something to look forward to I guess....

Then again... during his sparing with the Wing Chun master he suddenly went full force, and by instinct the master just kicked his left arm in self defense... and Tony's left arm broke.... ouch... -_-

So not sure the movie can come out in 2010 anot...
Then again... let's hope this can meet our expectations and not crush a little boy's dreams anymore~~ XD

Harrrr.... finally this day has arrived when we had to do an open day to raise funds for the school... kinda crazy don't you think?? =)

Either way it's a whole school thing so you can't really escape your fate...

had to be there at 6:45am for an opening prayer... then then.... begin the preparation, even though we've did all the setup, but there's still much more to be done...

for a higher angle, I had to go and steal the ladder from the storeroom and climb up to get a higher angle to record the whole thing in video... so John Wong helped me take the pictures then~

Had people who volunteered to help me keep the ladder steady, but ended up shaking me wanting me to fall and hurt myself... @#$%^&

this kid was lost and crying, some offered to help him find his father but he just brushed them off.. whew, crying yet still got so much ego as a man =)

after a longer longer while.... when it was near time to close up, we decided to let them all take the fishes back.... then the kids literally went berserk and jumped into the pool...

I seriously question this guy's methods of catching fishes.... too much National Geographic channel on bears?? =)

How a kidnapping usually happens

Well for the rest it's just the winners of the competitions, and the announcements of those getting their prizes, nothing interesting so shall just jump to the first prize...
and it ended up being our maintenance guy winning the top Prize O.o
none of us expected it that's for sure~ XD
ah well, then usually when it's done, everyone would go wild and make the best use of the remaining water~~~

Well then Cheryl couldn't get the chance to splash the water on him....
so she just ran and went "HUAAAA!!!" and randomly attack Andrew that's just so innocently siting down on the chair minding his own business.... =p


that didn't stop him from attacking his next target XD

Haaa.... was a good day, took us a super serious long time to clean the whole place up, and when I went back I was already half dead, not to mention also needed to lead cell group that night... haha...

But yeah the hardest part is over, now just enjoy the rest to come lo~ whew whew whew
