Broga Outing

An Outing to Broga Hill



Our youth had an outing, saying to go to Broga Hill... at that moment my eyes shined with joy as I heard it because always wanted to go Broga Hill especially after seeing the testimonial pictures from those who have been there before~~

Looks wonderful huh???



But when we arrived there I was like......

YEAH!!



Either way it turned out to be like some outback thingy which would eventually turn into like a team building thingy thing thing... so first they put down their bags and hung around the place...

wasn't long till it begun, we had erm.... three or four groups~ and only one fella holding a camera, siao wei.... walking all over the place...

lots of stuff to do~

each team is assigned to fulfill a certain task, for this team here... well they are given two boards to cross the whole team from point A to point B~ interesting =)

of course though teamwork is important, it's also a must to know where you're stepping on~

if not...















yeah well... haha~~

One of the other task was to swing over the rope, carrying the buckets of water and not spilling the water... the riht wa

yet again... if done wrong... =p

one obstacle course which would drive you crazy would be the leap of faith.... nothing spiritual about this that's for sure...

it's about climbing up... then jumping to grab the pole in the distance...



scary...?? yeap... but that's the least of our problems

for guys... the main and greatest problem would be the safety harness we're wearing, protection?? Yes indeed... extra pain under there?? Extra indeedness... because the harness is tied in a way that it goes around the male reproduction system, and when you're falling down from such a height and then you are suddenly pulled back........ whew...



You don't have to understand physics to understand the "force" and "pull" thing that happens down there... man that's unforgettable... O.o

but yeah well... just jump and give it an awesome pose

By public demand I was forced to let go of my camera and give it a try... oh Lord...

It wasn't THAT high of a climb... just around roughly TWENTY PLUS steps...

once reach up there ah.... FOOIYOH suddenly everything was spinning.... for a person who has 20% fear of heights.. looking down was the worse choice, but I couldn't resist to look and see XD

was literally stunned there, and almost felt like giving up and climbing down... but then many other thoughts came to mind....

• my reputation would be destroyed,
• I would lose face
• My cell member would use this to be a new joke
• Laughed at

So in the end it wasn't a matter of life or death, but rather a matter of face~ XD

so yeah, just run and jump...

But in all things, look your best =)

and well... I caught it~ hooray~

People asked me what I felt when I did the jump, and seriously I don't remember a single thing...



I think I passed out half way when jumping...??

But either way, just glad it's over, but my manhood was injured on the way down... ouch

Teamwork is great, helping each other is wonderful...



but sometimes.... erm.... ahhh no comment XD

Welcome to Pets Wonderland

This is another team building thingy that requires the whole team to work together, they all gotta erm.... bring one another out of the spider web without touching the ropes... so they gotta be gentle...

But some cases are exceptional...

so throwing is permitted~ XD

like you know in those movies before the person dies, he takes the moment to confess and shout "I LOVE YOU!!!"

dangerous... but he managed to pass it with flying colors

After the long brutal trials and temptations.... not quite sure how and where this fella poped out from... But I would believe it to be an angel from above in another color =)

Sharing is rather gruesome, but caring~

Lunch.... urrrrrgh....



After lunch we had some time to rest... then on to more activities.... awww man.....

next one.... rock climbing.... or is it wood climbing????

and for the others, they can go and do the flying fox, wahseh high stairs, not gonna go up~ XD

If you'd wonder why their faces change to be so dramatic at the near end of the line....

it's because they'd have to hit the thingy in order to stop them....

sort of like forceful brakes...

all resting and groaning of the sunburn...



Then came the grand final thing, which was the rafting, this kinda made them all excited and in joy..

Samuel was too happy he just dived into the boat

but ended up slipping and falling at the beginning part of it~ XD

for this one then it was a little more dramatic~~



what would make it more interesting if you knew basic science =)

SHOCKWAVE!!

But yeah... they just rolled and rolled and rolled their boat....

some merriely merriely flipped over instead....

some decided to use their paddles and paddle gently down the stream on the other boat...

AND some would resolve to violence in the end~~ =]

Either way... man it was a tiring day.... we all went back happy, sweaty, smelly... whew... a memorable day indeed~



But seriously la... next time I wanna go the real broga hill~~
