Amazing Love

Today is Good Friday, in which is kinda known to be the day where we remember Christ's sufferings on the cross, a wonderful sacrifice that was made.

I never really did appreciate Good Fridays, they never did feel to be special, just like any other normal day but with an extra service, but this year was different... weirdly after chapel service today the lecturer showed me this video during service...

I've seen lots of versions like this, taking clips from the Passion movie, but this is by far the best... I am not lying when seeing this, I felt that if I didn't hold back my tears I would've already burst out crying...

I guess it's unless we can come to a point to really be touched knowing how much Jesus has went through on the Christ, where He could've done something else, but He decided to die, to sacrifice Himself to be crucified upon that cross... I think most often we take our salvation for granted, how we forget most of the time of how we are saved by Grace, and by Grace alone we are where we are now...

And at times we forget why we are even Christians, that it's starting to even be like a trend where we just come to church, have fun, then leave the church feeling good and happy... but how did Christianity start?? Through a loving God, through His son, through a loving sacrifice for us that went beyond words... Christianity was never about us, but it was all about Him, and for Him alone. How often do we forget the sufferings of Christ?? How often do we take for granted what He has done?? And though we are saved by grace, we still lead a life that's not pleasing to Him... hmm..... we've got a lot to learn =(

How is it that we are here today?? It's all because of an Amazing Love, that came from the Heavens to our Earth to die for us, to offer up Himself as a sacrifice to die for our sins that a doorway may be open to Him, to salvation, to eternal life...

So as we go through this time of Good Friday to Easter.... just think about it~ how much Christ has done in your life, how good He has been, how faithful and wonderful He is... what a beautiful Savior... start to appreciate what He has done for us, a suffering beyond words, a life that was sacrificed for us on a Cross... and when we start to understand that which He has gone through... we can begin to appreciate Him more =)

But hey, rejoice~!! For He is alive~ He died, but in 3 days He rose from the death, and we serve a risen Savior =)

Have a great Easter...

You've just gotta love Him =)
