DCIM 2009

Never wanted to blog about this... but since I'm darn free, just blog about whatever comes to mind~~

DCIM.... I think it stands for Digital Camera, Imaging & Media... not sure, wasn't paying attention~ it's like some big photo fest, similar to KLPF or something~ but yeah... I'd go to any photo taking opportunity place, but... the place wasn't that grand, it was rather small being in the Mid Valley Exhibition Hall, so wasn't much to take~ but was nice seeing the cameras placed there, the nice pictures on tha board, but can't get near to try out those camera's due to an unending amount of people kinda fighting for it -.-

Went on the first day and there wasn't much, just took the picture of that vase in a light box, which would be perfect for taking items to sell and stuff, but I've read that you can DIY it, so shall do one day when I am free and feeling bored to wanna do the impossible~~

came on the second day, waited and waited to wanna see the models, and of course there were a whole lot of other photographers there with their huge big cameras, one guy brought a ladder?!?!?! Some... I also am not sure why they need to bring it also 0.0
Similar to this... not sure why they need to bring so much equipment, but according to friend there's just some people who like to bring their camera's to events like these, not to take pictures, but just stand there and show off their equipment...

Wahseh you so rich ah??? Bless me la wei~ don't waste it XD

But... well after quite some time of waiting... finally the models came out~ but ended up wasn't those official models, but girls to pose and show off the new Nikon P&S camera's... heh...Thus came out all the cameras... GO GO GO GO!!!
With the amount of super huge flashes firing ah... admire the girl lo can still look so normal and smile, I think if me I'd already be half blind and even walk off the stage =P
But yeah... for me being short, and having limitations in my lens, the max range I could go was a 50mm zoom~~ ahhh
Can't complain though~

Well... though there's a short range, but still thankful for 50D being so kind on the lady's skin tones, they look wonderful =)
And this girl... I think she was from Brazil??? but she doesn't look black... hmmm~
After taking this picture then I was asking... why ah am I taking pictures like these????? Felt like just joining in the crowd for an opportunity to take pictures of girls... haha, so I stopped and just went back... lazy to wait for the models somemore... -_-"

Nothing really special la, but just fun to see camera's~ interesting event, shall look forward to KLPF in August~~

But kinda hard la... when you start to take more pictures and finding the limitations and wanting to aim for better picture quality + sharpness, but... better equipment requires more money~ and I barely have much of it at the moment... but!! never mind, save save save~ and in due time when God sees fit I'm sure He'll open doors~~ so I'll try not to complain, and make do with what I have~
