Old But Not Forgotten

Been wanting to take pictures of this fella for a long long long time~~ =)

Presenting the Canon AE-1 Program SLR Camera~ why SLR only?? Well cause it's a totally film camera~
It was presented in 1981, and I think that was the year my uncle bought it, so yeah it's his... I just borrowed it from him cause he allowed me to~ he said that was one of those most geng chao camera's at those times... and after purchasing this he couldn't eat for weeks, not cause of the shockness of it's uber awesomness... but rather cause his money was kinda dried out... so yeah this is a camera of sweat and tears...
Even from 1981 till now... 2009... which is... 28years, it's actually still quite in a good condition after travelling so much years...
I checked the sensor and stuff... and didn't really find any signs of fungus or whatsoever... weird... maybe it was really well kept without a single drop of moisture...?? Or maybe I checked the wrong places... hmm...

Judging from the camera technologies now... I'd say this was really a real impressive camera at that era!! 0.0

On the left is a x2 Teleconverter, on the camera is a 50mm f1.8 lens, and on the right is... err... forgot, didn't see nicely~
Ahhh yes let's not forget the cool flashgun on it~
But yeah... I'd say this is really a great set of equipment, along with the filters that I didn't photograph...
Dun mind the pose.. hard to bend to the same level as the camera~ =P

An Evolution of Time...

Photography has came far hasn't it?? Been really impressed and amazed with how much it has evolved, and how easier it has become, it's no longer a surprising thing seeing how many people are walking around with DSLR's hung to their necks~ it's getting more affordable and popular... mmm~
But well.... as much as photography has improved... I can't lose too~ gotta improve myself even more each and every new day~
