Photography Outing : with Wai Chi pt.2

Part 2 of the Photography Outing with Wai Chi~~

As we walked back to Masjid Jamek station... which is also quite a distance, the sun began to set~ but yeah she wanted to go to StarHill to try to capture some pictures that I posted in my Fun With Lights Post, so.... off we go~
She wanted a shot like I did before at the same place, but then I was tired so didn't put much effort to get the right angle, kinda regretting it now though...

So yeah... went to Hang Tuah station, took the monorail to errr... Bukit Bintang, got off... and walked to StarHill.... not bad, that J.W. Marriot hotel still exists, but I coudn't care less what happened to it, just as long as they keep that bright lit wall shining and changing colors =)

Got there... took camera out, set the settings, press the shutter, and swing swing~

Just took 3 shots, didn't wanna do more because that would be repeating the same thing I did again the last time =(
Oh well... sets of pictures from Wai Chi

I'm really impressed though~ better than mine already =)

I don't quite know what this is, but it looks fabulous~~
Especially this since there's a shadow inside
Beep Beep!!
At this point I thought of trying something new, since the swing swing technique is already used before, and doing it more and more won't impress anyone anymore that's for sure... so tried a new technique~
Not bad...

Whirlpool~!! XD
Adding in a zoom burst effect with lights~ woo...

And at this point I remembered seeing a picture taken by this guy who added me on facebook called Jason... and remembered him taking a shot like this~
Which is really impressive and nice, giving motions and feel inside the picture... so thought of trying something like that myself too... since photography is all about seeing a picture taken by a pro and figuring out how they do it and trying to do how they do it is a joy for me for being able to learn new techniques, and then putting one's own personal touch in it~~ so I wanted to try~!!! Which is also good since I have a model around with me~~

*change change camera settings*
Me: Chi!!
Edryanne: What??
*CHICK CAK!!*
Edryanne: ARRRGH!! Buta d!!!
Isn't 100% complete yet though...

There's still lots to learn... mmm.... next!!

Of course the results might be okay... but next would be to figure out how to make the shot look good, how to make the person stand out and become the foreground, not the invisible background... not sure if it's the big flash that makes the difference??
But really... don't do this too much, it really hurts the eyes of both me and her... seeing a bright flash in pure darkness.. ouch... oh well shall go back and do some research on this....

Then she went to check out the toilet...

But before wan go toilet also wanna take pictures first 0.0

I didn't wanna go inside that toilet... after that time I went, then got a scary person standing there starring at you when you pee and then giving you a hand towel and helping u wash your hands then asking for a tip... go die la you!!
While heading back to the monorail there was this person there performing, nice~ =)

There was also a bunch of malays... actually the place was filled with malays, we were like the only Chinese there, so didn't wanna stay so long, scared after they bite me 0.0

Went back to timesquare, took our dinner at 8pm+ then we both went back out separate ways.... hmmm long long day, would stay back for some night photography but too little of us, a bit dangerous, KL's a nice place to take pictures at night you know?? But you would need a number of people at the same time for safety precautions... especially people who can defend you 0.0

Ahhh... yet another interesting Photography Outing, this time it felt really different and unique, because I learned new techniques, especially the wonderful part of manipulating colors, giving more feel with colors and black and white... but there's still much more to learn in life~ never give up~!! =)

I think I can form a club d~ XD
