Sports Photography

Sports Photography... opens a new world in photography =)

Never been into sports photography though... cause of maybe the need for a super huge lens that cost me so much I could buy a very good 2nd hand car ~~ but still, when you see a need for something, or when you're just too bored to do anything else, you would do nearly anything else too XD

So did some trying out during our church camp in June... that was during a volleyball game ~

Football~ =)

The guys were practicing on the field last week for the big game on monday, surprisingly we got first place in football 0.0

Lots of people liked this shot and were laughing while saying

"He's flying he's flying!!"

Oh ya there was a little basketball practice in the other side too~ =)
Errr... no explanations required for what happened here I guess =P

And... that concludes it~ took over 400 shots, but only a few could really stand out, mainly that was a feel of how sports photography feels like, but in order to follow the quick action I would be needing a lens with USM (UltraSonicMotor) to keep up with the speed, though camera has an AI Servo function to keep the focus with those moving objects, but the lens focuses slow... mmm.... -_-"

That's why some pics aren't pin sharp in their focusing~ plus need a zoom lens too to get close in on the action to capture the drama and stuff, lacking lots of equipment but... oh well it's a good start =)

next time shall try motion blur~~

BUT in the end of all these hard work, it's really rewarding to yourself when you see what kinda pictures that costs a million words =)

Shall be going to DaiCon tomorrow, some kinda big big big big anime convention at MMU Cyberjaya~ would be interesting to see what they have in store there tomorrow =)
