Not sure why I am blogging about this... but might be interesting to write about my 1 night trip to Melaka...
Usually on our term break we would be going on a holiday or vacation to somewhere... but after some friends have gotten busy with church work, gotten married and stuff... not many of them are already able to come, sad but... yeah eventually when we all graduate we might not have anymore time like this to go on a vacation~
But either way... only 3 of us went to Melaka~~
upon arriving... we saw this barber shop in the open street~ interesting~ just waiting for a huge thunderstorm then can see what can happen XD
anyways we went to Jason's house to stay because he would be our tour guide for this trip~~ and as usual they would be hunting for food first~
First stop was at some cendol stall...
This is rojak~
This is Mee Rebus... yeah I know you can't exactly tell the differences but this one taste nice =)
Cendol... nothing too spectacular, just normal normal only~~
Burp... not bad but too much for a first meal..
Second stop... it was at some kinda house, not sure where but you can drive around the housing area's till you see something like this I guess XD
Over here they serve one of the cleanest WanTanMee I've ever had... it isn't like the one in KL where after eating you HAVE to wipe your mouth and everything else feels dirty... this one just gives a very clean feel to it ~ XD
Didn't really take a nice shot here but... just to say that the drinks over here are darn cheap~~
Full full full~~
After that was a tour around... seeing some interesting sites in Melaka
Pure Bar.... what do they serve?? Water??
Made a stop at this kinda famous mosque, but it's really hidden deep within.. you'd have to pass by an abandoned area, which is kinda scary...
But it IS an interesting design~
jeng jeng jeng
what's more interesting is that it's built by the sea, so those inside would have the advantage of being able to look out into the ocean... mmm...
Wonder if there'll be any churches that'll build their building like that?? =)
And all around you can find abandoned flats, abandoned shot lots... because around that area it was kinda like an abandoned project... but somehow there's gonna be some portugese people who would remodel the place and make it anew~ oh wait... or was it Arab people... forgot~ XD

somehow he just has the face that can make expressions beyond human understanding.. it's funny at times but sometimes it also makes you wanna punch his face~ XD
Or in another case push him into the sea~ XD
made a stop by the highway cause they wanted me to take some pictures~ but it would be more interesting with a wide angle lens to capture the whole thing though =]
Big drain pipe~
And yeah because it's an open area even the roads are left abandoned, I think this is the only place you can just lie down and sleep on =)
Then here's a tourist attraction place built by the sea... did you know that in tamil this is a vulgar word ?? =)
Somehow the butt kicking promotion doesn't seem to be relating to the girl.... -_-
But nothing much here cause it's only active at night... sad place
Maybe that's why they have to tie up the chairs to the tables~
After that... they just wanted to go shopping and see a movie, so off we went to Dataran Pahwalan.. or something like that~~
Jason using my Tripod as a gun and aiming it at tourist, singaporeans and shouting~
Can't blame him though... we were stuck in a jam and it was boring...
He even resolved to the extend...
Of strangling friend~ XD
At this point I kept the camera because we were shopping, and didn't feel like taking any pictures there =P
Managed to buy some things there... and after awhile later we watched G.I.Joe... weird movie~
Then after coming out you can see such a scenery... haha bad wei they all make you have to see a movie if you want to enjoy this view
After that we made a stop... and Jason went to buy some stuff...
And the other Jason was bored... so...
Yeah strangle again~ =)
And this part became my most memorable part of the trip...
This was what Jason bought... little sausages cut up...
What happened?? Well Indian Jason took one piece, and he started screaming at the fact saying that it is super spicy... but I thought since he was indian and would naturally lose to a chinese in the areas of taking chillies so I thought to myself
"How spicy could it be??"
So I took a piece... and oh my goodness....... suddenly a rage of flushing amounts of chilli power swept through my tongue like how lava burns a whole village in Hawaii down... it was HOT!!! as in seriously darn hot!! Suddenly the three of us was screaming in the car while the driver was laughing his head off... wahseh....
Literally you have never tried something this hot... it is totally crazy...
It was till an extend we literally had to stop and run out to buy some ice cream to cool down our tongues...
Of course after the ice-cream effect the spicyness came back again... oh Lord... after eating alot of other different stuff... the spicyness started to subside... really bad... took us around 30mins to 1hr just to get rid of it... bad experience, even after the taste was gone from our tongues you can still feel the fire within your stomach...
Such a small piece only....
Well after that cannot tahan already have to go back Jason's house to rest...
Then Mun Chung said maybe should try again... but eventually we were all too freaked out to try another one... even if you dared me I wouldn't wanna try it...
It must be a chilli from China, cause I've heard the chillies there are madness... and it was just left aside there~
Later on Mei Fern came to join us... and we had her try a piece... of course they cut it into 1/4 so wasn't that bad, and when she tried she just stonned and went..
"woah..."
And starting to drink warm water... at least she had warm water... we didn't have, only a cold 100 plus and coca cola in the car -_-
Well after that was dinner time.... we went deep inside some a pier like that to have seafood~
Stingray
Weird shell thingy
Fried Sotong
Kangkung
Ikan Bakar
Nice =)
After that was to go deep into another place, nearby Jonker walk I think...
They had cheap drinks =)

This was a stall inside the alley, that's why it's so interesting because I've never seen before a stall at such a place, and their specialty is serving like those lala dishes~
We just sat on the floor, ate and threw the shells into the little hole in the middle~~

Forgot what you call this but it's nice~

Nice place... haha ~~
Next destination...
This place is famous for the erm... egg+oyster dish... forgot what you call this too~
But this uncle powerful leh... solo cooking, and alot of people lining up to buy~ he fry like this once can make around 4-5 dishes~
Next was Lo Han Kuo~ very cooling and refreshing
~
At this point we went to visit the Eye on Malaysia... coming up on the next post~
After that I felt like I was gonna die already because the chilli has burned up my stomach to an extend that I had to go to the toilet... very bad.... and very sad because Jason brought me to a place where you can take some wonderfully beautiful night shot sceneries... but all I wanted then was to find a toilet... =(
Friends too were kinda suffering... one said "shit till got fire come out" XD
overall a good trip..
Next day, we got up, went for breakfast, and then headed on home =)
One thing I've learned... is that my friend is a bad navigator... Jason drew out for us a map pointing to turn right and he said to turn left... -_-"
I told him was right and he showed the map at me and said "you cannot see it's left ah!!?!" =.=
Oh well... the sky was beautifully blue on the way back~

Bought this over there... it was at a Japanese rm5 shop~
Nice mouse pad... with all the Japanese characters =)
This is a screen cleaner too... all at rm5... nice~ =)
Okay some people have already been asking why just a one night trip??? Well because original plan was supposed to go Melaka one night, then after that go to Port Dickson meet up with another friend to stay for a second night... BUT BUT BUT
Because Jason had a cell group and he said cannot cancel so we had to turn back because of him... stupid fella ~~
Some people really should be punched once awhile =)
BUT either way can't blame him... and we DID have an interesting trip... just that I'm still scared of the powerfully chilli ~~ you all must try it =)
