Outing With Wendy

This might be an outdated post.. but nevertheless it's still something good to blog about, but I think might get some scolding after some people see this post 0.0

Few weeks ago... or was it months?? Donno... but long long ago there was this DaiCon event held in Cyberjaya's MMU (Multimedia University) in which I couldn't go early cause have to work till 1pm at church on a wonderful Saturday =P

After that went to pick up Wendy, surprised that she would also come along... haha so off to MMU, thank God for a GPS that guided us safely, cause I'm naturally bad with roads, even with a GPS I can still get lost somehow... must be a weird form of blessing...

Once arrived at MMU... hmmm big place, but empty... no trees... hot... -_-"

After going in circles we finally found ourselves to the main entrance... thus the story begins~
The place was quite big, much better than that previous Japanese Event I went to that's for sure... -_-"
lots of displays of these little models that you could buy...
but judging by how nice it looks... it'll surely cost alot... 0.0
=)
And of course at events like these is where you would surely see some cosplayers =)
And at the main part was a huge stage... supposily the current event was a Japanese Karaoke session... har?? But this guy was singing his lungs out till he suddenly paused and then said sorry cause he forgot the lyrics... then just stood there till the song ended

Supposily that guy is supposed to be some cool ninja, but his eyes were red then, more like trying to hold in his tears???? O.O
They were supposed to do a fighting pose so the others could photograph... but the other guy just... well... acted dead....

Well they had more than 5 cosplay people... so they win another point~ XD

Was waiting for the cosplay competiton, but Jaryl told me that the competition ended before 1pm =.=""""

meaning one of the main events already ended.. why'd they have to end it so fast???
Ahhh well... after awhile it was boring so we left~ and walked around MMU to look around =]
Wendy then wanted to try pictures like what photographers normally do... take pictures of each other like this...

why do they always do this???
Well I guess it's one of the only ways to get yourself into a picture....???

They had alot of weird things around MMU, some things also displaying there by DIGI, supposily you take a picture with it, MMS to digi, and can win some prizes... lazy to try~ but fun to try taking pictures with it~

After awhile we were bored... and it was time to leave~ =)

Well not knowing where to go next since it was only 2pm+ then we've decided to use the GPS to find out what's the interesting landmark/hotspot nearby... supposily it wrote "Millenium Tower" what is it?? Donno.... but since they had a camera symbol meaning it's a tourist attraction...

So off we went on a spontaneous trip~

Hmmm from down under it's a whole new angle.. oh ya I wasn't taking pictures, Wendy took these, it would be dangerous to photograph while driving -_-"

Ahhhh well... either way, parked the car, got down... was looking for a place to throw my can...
this looked like a dustbin, but couldn't get to find the opening... can't push the hole on the side, so just left it there... haha =)
The Putrajaya bridge... looks more dramatic and nicer at night...
Haih... Millenium Tower... why give it such a cool name yet looking like this???
Oh well... we tried walking up~
and it was hot... we were literally running through from shade to shade~!!
Mainly... it's just a tower that either looks like a missile, or a Faber Castell watercolor pencil...
And on the side it has the years and events that happened... which makes you wanna ignore it more =)

Then at the edge... you can see a......... security camera, and it's just facing the Putrajaya Bridge... for what?????

Then... not sure where to go next, so we just drove around randomly... you could see weird shaped streetlights looking like people raising their hands and praising God~
And some that looked like alien eyes...

But they do have a LOT of Malaysian flags there... 0.0

Then we drove to the Putrajaya water something... supposily a place where you can rent boats and stuff?? Not sure... they said that they were having this competition... but couldn't see anything, it was boring... so we drove off~

After that we were stuck, and blur... not knowing where to go, so just made a stop, and looked through the GPS looking for another place of interest to go....
Ended up, there was nothing at all... so where did we go next... erm.... well I had a crazy idea then~ and.....

Well we drove QUITE a distance and ended up in...?? =P
Aquaria~ haha!! Ahhh this is random... but yeah it's like a big aquarium thingy... only heard of it, but always wanted to go... so... try out =)

But interesting price... if you're a Malaysian with the MyKad, you pay rm28, if you have a student card, you pay rm20~

if not you'll be paying the original price of rm38... arrrgh~~
What are these fishes?? Well they're your own favorite Pirana's =)

Yes the man eating fishes you see in movies... and the guide says that they are active at morning, but sleeping at night... so if you wanna pick a time to fall into the Amazon River... do it at night k??

The Pirana's feeding time is at 11:30am and 4:00pm so I'd suggest you go in at that time... I went it around 6:30pm so missed it ~~ wonder if they'll throw in one of their lazy employees XD

You'll find a tank with an electric eel... yes an electric eel... it looks so proud inside a tank all by itself, and I think you could even hear it tempting you to touch it by singing the song "Touch My Body"
See this?? Looks like some kid put it's face to the glass therefore making this kinda shape =)

now when I saw this I was truly wondering... what in the wide world are you doing here...???

Then another odd part comes in where you can find dead insects, surely stuffed with weird things to keep it looking like this... but very the fake!!
Unless if you capture it from another angle... then you can lie to your friends that you've captured a wonderful butterfly picture =P

This is a huge ugly toad, but by seeing the picture you can't really tell the size... well it's almost the size of my head~

I mean if I was in a cage for year I would be fed up too with life...

You know sometimes these motion blur is considered an art in photography... but I'm not too sure about it... looks like more a cover up for a failure shot sometimes... =P
But yeah... there's a huge tank filled with these fishes mindlessly swimming in circles and circles and circles...

After going down the stairs... man you could get the shock of your life...

As we were supposed to move on... I'm still kinda stonned at the size of them.... scary wei.... kill one of it and you can feed... alot of people 0.0

Lion fish... the moment we were looking at it it just flashed itself open.... show off!
Is this a seaturtle?? I have no idea... I only know that it popped up to breath that kinda scared the both of us... too sudden, couldn't take a picture of it...
Ahhh... then comes the main course, going into the big big tank~
Where you can see your favorite fish of the sea, sharks... wooo...
there were alot of tourist also inside the tank going "oooo.... ahhhh...."
But it's nice inside.... very relaxing along with the blue feel~
This was a stingray resting on the top of the cover... lazy bum~
This guy was taking picture with the shark... but.... look at the sharks' eye... it looks rather pissed by that..

Like it's gonna break the tank and specially eat that person~
But yeah... sharks are scary especially in a close distance...

Though your safe behind the glass, but still.... they have a sign there saying what your seeing is 30% smaller than their actual size, meaning... their 30% larger in real life?? 0.0

Haha... one thing about Aquaria..
If your planning to come here for a model shoot... not really recommended, since the blue color is very powerful here, and how you adjust the while balance also won't work but will make it worse~~ =P

Unless you have a special picture style...

But either way... it looks nice naturally, and how the natural color goes onto her... well it's nice =)

Well that's mainly what's inside the tank
See the thing I'm on?? It's like a little moving ground, so if your lazy you can just stand on it and let it drag you throughout the tank~~
Overall thing in the tank?? Well unless you have a camera or lens that can zoom fast... it'll be hard to capture the sudden moment where a shark swims near to you, where a seaturtle just swims by looking wonderfully majestic... you need to be fast ~ for me??? I guess all I can do it manually focus since my lens doesn't have the USM technology to zoom in fast enough =P

Scary... haha but yet everyone loves to take pictures with it, and it loves to pose with them too~
And at moments like these is where it'll be perfect to do a shilohuette shot~ =)

My overall rating of Aquaria?? 7/10.. it's a nice place, but just lacking alot of fishes, where's the octopus?? =)
Ahhh well... after that we walked over to KLCC, had dinner... and I drove Wendy home...

it was a long day, but indeed it was an interesting day indeed going out with her, looking forward to another time then =)
