BCM Camp 09
Shall finally blog about my college camp =)
BCM Camp 2009!! Ahhh was also in the committee this year, so we had to go up one day earlier, and that shall be in another post~ XD
Day 1...
Welcoming the arrival of the college people, lecturers, families... etc =)
We went ahead to pre-set those bags with the camp booklet and along with other stuff inside it~~
And after the camp briefing session... everyone went on to their own rooms~~
I can say the place we stayed ain't half bad... very spacious, and also cooling with a wonderful view =)
We had to guide them to their rooms... in which it was quite a long walk... WHEW!!
Oh ya... we've also got a new Bass for the college since the old one was already broken... it's about time~ =P
XD
And for those who's rooms were in the further places... we had an official indian driver to drive you around~ heh heh...
After that... the committee sat down for a short meeting discussing how to do the games for the next day~
but for me I wasn't part of it since my duty was only to take pictures, so walked around.. nice tower =)
I actually went directly under it and took a picture.. but not sure why it didn't upload, oh well~ nothing really interesting though... did a panoramic shot too but didn't really *kick* so dun wanna show~ XD
Then well was free time...
then most of them went swimming...

you can be amazed on how powerful a cambodian guy can backflip =)
That place is filled with cats though, never seen so many cats before in one place~~ wonderful =)
Dinner time~~

the begins the service, but we'd always begin it with a pre-prayer =)
Ezra with the drumsticks... if your wondering yes this guy can follow a beat, future sure can become a pro drummer d wan..
while the students were praying for each other
this guy was going around causing problems XD
But yeah, we had a great worship too that night
even the kids raised their hands in worship =)
it's not everyday too that you see those elder people dancing around with you in praise and worship =)
and at the back the pare

Our camp speaker, Rev. John Ng
During the sermon these kids were hyperactive, going all over the place making noises ~ XD

Drama
Drummers
actually at this part I kinda lost the order of the pictures...

Ahhh yes... 2nd day noon we had games time, last year we were trying to do this also but it rained heavily... this time... hot sun~
The three blacketeers

left: mother... right: father XD
the rest of the pictures is those taken during the games time... so a little lazy to write captions... soo much... XD

The winning team!! =)

After the games then they had a splashing time of wetting each other, whether it be water balloons or shooting the hose at each other~ they even shot me!! O.o
Good thing my new lens is whether sealed and 50D is a little water resistant -_-"
After the games, everyone went to wash up, and I was dead tired too at that part... whew whew... so washed up and got ready for dinner
Then while walking out... wow, the sky just looked wonderful~!!! You just HAD to photograph it!! XD

Last night session... everyone was really on fire for God, never seen the students so wild ~XD

After the service the camp committee had a group shot =)
Due to the theme of our camp this year being known as "Spirit of Excellence"....
They used my hands and legs in a way for the X-cellence... -_-"
ouch...
After that was Mamak~~ you know... I am not sure if it's the lens or not, but even at ISO 2000+ the picture still comes out very clear... does the lens affect noise?? I am not sure...
Last day... haha...
Kitten under the table during breakfast....

Crazy one

Japanese Style =)
overall... it was a great camp, I went with an expectation from God, and He never did fail me, through this camp I've certainly acquired something great from Him that helped me greatly in this 3rd term, alot of changed within me that's for sure...
Camp was great, it was fun, the plannings went well... people were happy and blessed, but what really made this camp such a success was everyone in BCM, everyone there that did a special part that influenced me in my life... I can't really put it into words, but ever since I've entered BCM, and looking back 2yrs... it has been long, but every single person there has been a good influence in my life, helping me to look at the ministry from another angle, letting me know that though it is hard, there's still a huge large bunch of people who understand and are always there to support...
I guess that's what makes life worth living, knowing that though the path ahead is hard and lonely, but in the end we still have a wonderful God who's always there to hold our hand and guide us through, and if that isn't enough He's even sent his angels to bring support... which are those people around me, though in BCM, Church, Friends, families... etc... those who have been an influence in my life and helped me grow thus far, you have been an angel in my life =)
BCM, Far or near, one band... a sentence from our school song, haha but such a powerful word written in it =)
Looking forward to next year, and yeah I've forgotten to put in a number of pictures BUT... oh well~ I got lazy XD
