One of the new BCM students, who is a pro photographer working mainly in the line of those promotional and advertising thingy, started to get to know him last year, and with the equipment that he introduced to me.... erm.... wow...??
See his lens and stuff and can literally flip~ not to mention the amount of camera's he has... haha~ but mostly impressed with his 5D =)
But yeah class was at 2pm today, but I went into class earlier to talk with him and stuff, and he showed me some of the things he took, and he told me an interesting fact, that no matter how good you are, how beautiful and wonderful your pictures might be, in the end it's all decided on what the client wants, and what the directors thing about it, etc etc... so I guess a photographer doesn't have quite much to say???
But yeah he introduced to me some lens, and said for my line of photography, and judging by how he sees me taking pictures in events, that I have to walk up to the front... a zoom lens would most likely be needed... which is true though, since I suffer alot when taking events of not being able to zoom in and end up walking to the front... and can be kinda embarrassing too in some areas =P

And a cheaper zoom lens would make me suffer even more too because of the aperture that makes it harder to handle in low light situations~~

so on to the photography class, it was interesting, though I've learned most of those basics on my own, but sometimes it's good to be reminded of the basics and to not have a mindset to think that you know it all if not you'd end up being a cocky photography... but rather to always have a heart of wanting to learn more, to improve more, and to always outdo yourself~ that's what I think la~~~ for others I don't know ~ =P
Was sort of like the first time ever that I've sat in the front in class, but still like usual hard to stay awake~ XD
But it was nice, saw a lot of nice pictures to get the inspiration, shocking part was when I found out he used some of my pictures for presentation too O.o, but one nice thing I've learned today in taking pictures was to in every picture, to let it tell a story... he showed one picture that certainly summarized everything into one, but I don't have it at the moment... will request it from him when I get it~~ =)
Either way... yeah, save money save money... got an offer to work in december, but then big event so better get some equipment to par up... -_-"
Also got a rather good price for a 1.4 lens that would cost few hundred, since the canon one is around rm1400... whew... =P
