Watch Night Camp 2009

I know this is a last year's topic which is about two months ago... but you just can't leave these kinda post out =)


Every year's end, our church would be going to Port Dickson's Golden Sands Resort for our Watchnight camp, to join together as a church to end the year and to praise God into the new year~ as some might find it to be lame and boring... I don't know... been doing it ever since I was born, and been coming to this same exact place for every single year, and I feel that there's nothing more better than to come into the new year together with your big warm family in Christ =)

But yeah there's always something new to look forward to whenever we come to watch night camp... for this year...??
Well..... we had a nice welcome gift in front of the beach~ XD

And yeah the beach is one of the main attractions here, I mean... if there isn't a beach we'd totally die or boredom, at least got some sun and sand, but no babes~~ welcome to Malaysia~ =P

Jeng jeng... wasn't long till Michelle decided to take the bra and play with it by throwing it around the place, then putting it on the sand and writing my initials there saying that it's my bra... -_-"

Simply play around with bra la... after people put jampi on it then you know~
The sun was hot... but the clouds were powerful o.o

Wasn't long till everyone was in a playful mood and the youths decided to play captain ball~ =)

At this point everyone's facial expression kinda gave that look like they were totally in awe thinking:

"Oh my!!! He can hold a ball!!?!??!?!"

Was using my 50mm lens.... and somehow kinda interesting how the bokeh comes out with the contrast in most pictures, only problem is the focusing... haha... because I was focing myself to capture the pictures with manual focusing, training training... but kinda hard because not using a full frame camera so can't get the full view range... whew... -_-

But now we were going to lunch~
I ordered cold chinese tea and it came in an unhealthy cup~ XD

After that we went back... wahseh hot like mad can literally die leh -_-"

You can see the beach from afar, but then judging by the sun being so hot it makes you think twice before dashing down and killing yourself...

BUT the beach was too tempting so we HAD to go down~~~ XD

The beach felt good, the sand was nice to run around... but then again judging by the Malaysian beach which isn't like the tourism Malaysia flyers which is totally to bluff the ang mo's since you could roughly see a few of them and their faces looked kinda pissed which makes me happy =)

Anyways like each and every new year at the beach, we would take a long walk to the other end of the beach, because there is where you can find a huge amount if little crabs, some corals and other interesting things like fishes and prawns stuck in between rocks... heh heh just a big fun interesting place to find nonsense...

But yeah they're too small to think of eating...

there here was a bigger crab, with proper love and care and upbringing this could turn out to be quite a nice big tasty crab =)

you can also find a huge amount of Hermit crabs, so don't have to go to the petshop to waste money buy hermit crabs =)

Wasn't long till we had to leave, the sun was getting crazy and we were hot like mad..

Banana Boat.... also a form of entertainment where you can to enjoy the sun, the wind, and the water, but that would be overseas la, if you were to ride it here in Malaysia and they would purposely make the boat flip over.... which can be fun, but if you fell in Malaysian seas, wahseh you can't imagine the saltiness of the water, and the sea feels like acid water cause it burns the skin especially the face... my gosh that was a bad experience years ago...

Maybe every night they come to the ocean and pour bags of salt... -_-"
We went back to the room to relax for hours....

Then back to the beach again XD

jaryl was making a trap, then covering it with leaves and hoping people would drop down... but sadly the tide rose and it was totally covered up... aiks...
At this point was the dangerous part because they were having a baptism service and I had to walk into the ocean with my camera to take pictures of them, scary scary... water level was above my waist o.o
But to chop it short... these were those who were baptised~ =)

then to cut things short, we had our final service that night, then after that was testimonies upon testimonies about how faithful God was for them in the year 2009, it's really nice and inspiring to hear what God has done in the member's life =)

Then after moments of Celebration....

Well then again we still had others who wanted to share their testimony... so on with it~ XD

They in fact... slept through the new year =)

At 1:00am they decided to end the service because everyone was talking about the eclipse that'll happen at that time according to the news... so everyone was eager to see... but....

NOTHING!!!

The moon was beautifully bright, and that's all there is to it.... but then I dug into my pocket and found something to make an eclipse happen~

Well... 2009 was a great year, and 2010 is gonna be greater =)

Always something great to look forward to in the new year I guess.... just be positive and know that things will always come out well if you believe =)
