World Cup.....

Looks like World Cup is finally over....




not quite sure how long this craze has been on.. but yeah World Cup, yeah~ once in four years~~ its the time where even the girls would start beginning to watch football for once, and if you interview them why, they would all mainly come back to the same answer:

"Once in 4 years!!!"

so I guess it's a good improvement =)

had some people asking me if I watched it, erm nope I did not... why?? don't know... just don't wanna watch la~ to me I find it to be a waste of time, and I'd rather do something more productive with my time~~

But yeah, to every different person their own~ so you can't go and say which one is a waste of time and which one isn't~ since we all waste time in our own random ways that no one could ever understand~~ XD
either way, currently back into playing an old game... Megaman Battle Network, supposed to be on the GBA but got an emulator for the PSP version by Jaryl... so so so.... go crazy =)

BUT coming back to the main topic~~~
looks like Spain won the world cup, judging from what I read in facebook la, hope I'm right~~

But there is one thing about this year's world cup......
it was when people started looking up to an octopus called Paul.... born in England, January 2008, then migrated to Germany....

I know it's lame to study the autobiography of an octopus... but SUPPOSEDLY they call it the oracle octopus hor~~~~ got special powers some more, can tell the future of which team can win... and to make it worse, his predictions are correct.... darn....

I thought they just put the flags on the floor and whichever one the octopus chooses with it's tentacles then it'll be right... but then I went to read up on it.... this was from wikipedia~~

Paul is presented with two boxes containing food, each marked with the flag of a national football team in an upcoming match. He chose the box with the flag of the winning team in four of Germany's six Euro 2008 matches, and in all seven of their matches in the 2010 World Cup. He correctly predicted a win for Spain against the Netherlands in the World Cup final on 11 July by eating the mussel in the box with the Spanish flag on it. His predictions have thus been 100% (8/8) correct for the 2010 World Cup and 86% (12/14) correct overall.

oi..... you put food inside the box of course naturally the octopus will go there la.... especially since they also wrote this part....

The animal rights organization PETA stated it would be cruel to keep Paul in permanent confinement. Sea Life Centres responded that it would be dangerous to release him, because he was born in captivity, and is not accustomed to finding food for himself

so that means that this is a spoiled octopus that can't hunt food for himself, so he's used to being fed by humans, so it would be natural.... put the food there, the octopus would go there, but go into which box of food?? That one just depends on the octopus la, feel like going where then where lo....

for myself it would also be a normal thing....

put two girls in two boxes, and ang mo girl and an asian girl.... which one would I choose?? Asian girl la.... why??? Cause I like lo.... and that doesn't make me an oracle... I just simply chose what I like -_-

Kinda....... weird how people are looking into things now...

Octopus with power.... sigh....
The only octopus that I remember with power is those that flip ships in the ocean~ ahhh the scary stories =p
or rather those who have survived an octopus attack.... scary.... now that's powerful~~
That octopus is lucky it's born in Germany where people worship it as an oracle.....
If it was born in the Asian countries it'll be eaten before it could show it's power~~
