Silent Retreat.. oh man...

Just back from a Silent Retreat yesterday....



Ahhh a silent retreat, what might it be about you ask??? Not too sure how to explain everything in details though... but it's one of those serious cases where we're trained in the olden traditional Methodist training style of just... erm... be quiet~

yeap... in another way of putting it would be, to not talk for the next 3days and 2nights, you cannot interact with anyone there, you cannot talk to anyone, you cannot have any gadgets to communicate with the outside world...

Sort of like the life of a monk if you've read my previous post~~ but the worse part was we couldn't even do sign languages nor pass notes to one another, just to be anti-social for the whole 3days 2nights... of course for most people they would already go crazy... I too would be one of them~~

But thank goodness I'm already quite familiar with this keeping quiet thing, so I didn't go berserk....
But... Enjoy The Silence.... was what lecturer kept on telling us... how to enjoy????
But yeah these were those that went to the camp~~ normal group size, if it was a number of 100+ I think we'd all go crazy already...

quite the struggle, you try to not talk with anyone for so long?? Then especially at meal times when you are faced with one another and cannot talk...
What can I say.... the silence can drive people crazy sometimes....

But either way, just a draft only la, next time only write on the full story about the camp... ah whew whew....
