Silent Retreat

Will be going there tomorrow.....



Not exactly the real Silent hill la.... cause if I were to see such a signboard I'll turn and run other than going into it... siao...

But either way, currently taking a course called Spiritual Formation.... and in which one part of the course requires us to go for a 3day 2night camp up in Fraiser's Hill... which isn't too bad cause of the cool air and stuff... But I guess the thing that sucked was when they announced that it was going to be a:

"Silent Retreat"

"!@#$%^&*"

What might it mean?? No it's not retreating from enemy territory silently... but rather it's a time where we aren't supposed to talk, where we aren't supposed to interact with friends even if we bump into each other, where we are cut off from the world, I hope she isn't going to confiscate my phone or something..... but I think she might.... and she could if she would.....

Either way... we're supposed to be like this for the whole camp...

Imagine.... 3 days without talking.....I think can go crazy lo....

It's sort of like living the life of a monk...... oh man....
Monk....
I don't wanna be like him....... noooo.... nooooo..... noooooooooooo........

Urrrgh... BUT either way, they say in the moment of silence is where you can hear God, and that sleeping too is possible too... so I'll just lock myself in the room and sleep, and of course since it's silent nobody can wake me up ~~

Sigh.... think it as a moment to really.... honestly relax and run away from all my current duties, I really do need it at the moment though.. then again, maybe can gain something out all all the silentness??? Not sure... don't know....

But either way... yeah well decided to not bring laptop along, leave most of the things back here, and... hmm.... maybe can feel God closer I think...

Oh well just hope for the best, at least it's just 3days and not 3months or 3 years... if not I'd forget totally how to speak anymore.... sigh...
