The Internet...

You gotta start being careful these days....

The internet has been one of the greatest blessings in our lives so far~ and that's no doubt =)

But also when something so fun is given into our control, yet it can also become something that's really dangerous beyond anyone's knowledge~ you might not know it, but sometimes a little fun can get you into trouble, or become a rather bad memory in your life that makes you wish you haven't done or said that...

Anyways just wanted to write and say how sometimes a little fun can screw you up, especially since the internet is opened up to the whole world, since the invention of "uploading" things to the internet has came up, people have been uploading different things, pictures, videos, etc...

Not to say that uploading things is bad, I for certain am a super passionated uploader, prefer uploading more than downloading... but the thing that I've learned is to be cautious in what you upload to the internet, it could be a simple funny video or picture that can make others happy, hehe haha a little, but now with the internet being opened to everyone, that also means that everyone else in the world can access it,

you can think that only your friends read your blog, but oh no... you might not know,
Though most of the readers from my blog are from Malaysia... there's actually people from UK, Germany, US, Philippines, Indonesia...
Korea Republic, Bulgaria, Hong Kong... and I have no idea how the people from Spain could even get into my blog... but yeah, it's just a little example how far the internet can go from where you're siting now...

you could make a post, and in it you can be cursing your parents, your friend, your boss, etc... but you don't know... your parents might be reading it, your relatives, your church members, your co-workers, your boss, even your leaders or pastors might be reading what you've said or upload and would go:

"oh my goodness"

I've even heard stories of a lady worker who wrote on facebook cursing her boss, and people laughed and supported her, but somehow the boss was also online then and saw her message, and gave a comment saying that she's fired...

But seriously... I'm not saying to not upload, or maybe even to share your feeling or frustrations on the internet, but sometimes it doesn't hurt to think what if outsiders read what I've written or uploaded, what if people whom I didn't want to read read that post, what would they think???

Sometimes it's just better to think twice before clicking on that Upload or Publish button, my lecturer once told me that whatever we do on the internet could one day be used against us to destroy us, Obama even gave a statement but I totally forgot what he wrote, but yeah he did say something that whatever we upload now could also be used against us one day...

Sometimes somethings are best not said, I too have had lots of times where I was writing a post half way and decided to delete the whole thing because I think that it might offend someone, or it was a post directed to shoot someone else...

Not sure if I made my point clear... but I guess to summarize what I was trying to say is, be careful what you upload or say on the internet, it'll either make you or break you~

Oh ya... one more thing, also before you upload or publish something, make sure you double check to make sure it's perfect.... why???

Sounds rather harmless?? I guess so... but when I was looking at my taskbar below...
Aiya... it was cut short and became (R)mOmO(R)loves Sex.... O.O

Ahhhh either way, just be careful ya~ just something I wanted to share today from my heart for the safety of all, and yeah... have fun online, don't get too paranoid too sometimes...
