Model : Nicole

Well after the not so successful photoshoot with Nicole the last time because of the rain, this time we had another try during the Raya Holidays, this time we went off to Bukit Jalil Park...

It's also my first time going there but... just see what we can cook up =)

First what we did was to walk around, scan the area, and look for a suitable location, location is important you know!!?? It can determine how the outcome of the picture will be like!! XD
Anyways if you were to walk a little you would find a huge pond, don't worry chances of you falling into it are kinda low unless you have balancing problems~~
But it's a simple, nice location...
and if you're a turtle fan you can find alot, and I mean a LOT of turtles there, some just swimming, some suntanning, sort of like a turtle paradise for them to relax and escape from the troubles of the world (if they do have any)

But when I approached those turtles they would just hop into the pond and swim... if you are hardcore you might jump into the pond and chase after them, but after seeing quite a huge shadow in the pond, that made me think again... I think it's a big fish or some sort...

Then nearby you can find sort of like a mountain of rocks, but don't be fooled~~
just a little higher would be sort of like a drain like that... hmmm.... it's an interesting place, I went inside the look and inside that hole above looks like a nice place to photograph too, but kinda dangerous for the model to walk all the way up there so... best just keep them safe~~

Not quite sure what to write in this part... but just to say that Nicole has a very unique feature that really works well with a new Picture Style I'm trying...

Romantic Picture Style... sort of like the Japanese Style but gives a slightly brighter feel to it...

Well awhile later it became kinda hot, and for the way she is dressed I think it would be hotter for her, so she went to change to something less hotter~ =P

Then in the distance we saw a cat, and yeap Nicole's a cat fan~ forgot how many cats she has already, so we went there to play with the mother cat, then after awhile later, miao sounds came from behind us...
Then out crawled 5 little kittens....
Haha you could imagine the happiness she was feeling then~

This kitten was the main character I guess...
Because of it's wobbly walking pose and blue eyes~~
Somehow it feels like I've seen a picture like this somewhere before too... also the same expression from the cat... hmmmm~~

As much as I wanted to stay and continue on with the cat photography... but there was a couple of malay workers over there and giving a look that made me feel rather uncomfortable, was it for a good or bad intention I do not know, but I do not wanna stay and put her in danger... so best to walk off ASAP~~~
Then we found a table, where the behind was filled of trees with the sunlight trying to shine through... and if you'd ask me, that would be a perfect place to create a bokeh-filled background =)

Tried something like this after being inspired by a picture by Livia

Then... well we kinda ran out of locations already... the place is nice, but just too small, limited place lo... woorrrgh....

Then Nicole pointed towards the swings, giving suggestions... glad she did~ and since I'm reminde of swings I'm also reminded for panning shots, never actually done panning shots before, only read about it...
At beginning it didn't really go too well, though it was an okay shot, but the background didn't show any signs of movements or speed...
So only way was to change settings, and try out again
and again and again... there were alot of failures... I think near to 100 shots, but only these few came out right...

But in the end... finally caught the picture of my liking... whew... done! =)
THEN the sun decided to show it's rage and shine at it's most powerful strike... so we had to find shelter under this pondok, hot.....
At this time you could already see a certain tiredness in her eyes already~~ it's been a long day =)
But then a small wind blew, and ahhh!! hurry up take!!! and therefore that became my favorite picture of this shooting, a sudden moment that I almost couldn't capture in time, but thank God for 50D's quick 0.001second start up time~ XD
Then the sun left us, just for awhile...

And we just went to capture these 2 shots, then... I felt like it was already enough for the day =)

And that concluded my photoshooting with Nicole, was more satisfied with this one compared to the last one with all the rain and stuff =P

Overall, well Nicole's a good model too for her first time trying out, though at the beginning you could see some nervousness in her eyes, but as the shoot went on, I could see the confident arising in her, and she got better too, though some simple poses, but they're still very nice~ one of her main features that captures your attention in taking pictures of her, well it's her eyes, not just because the colored contacts helps, but something about her eyes that makes the pictures come to live =)

Anyways she'd even booked me out for another shooting soon when she's free~ haha... so fast wei~ XD

But yeah I had fun taking pictures of her, a very cute character, and if like how most people comment, yeah she really reminds me of a little kitten XD
