Last month was asked to go visit some of the cancer patient kids in University Hospital... at first I didn't wanna go because... well... I just didn't want... but somehow on the day before I suddenly decided to go, why?? Don't know... just felt that maybe it'll be good to go visit...

the first one we visited was a teenage boy who had leukemia... and even before the procedure he already gave up on fighting, gave up on life... etc... so we just did whatever we could to cheer him up, trying to give hope to tell him to not give up... it's really a sad thing though...
won't be posting a picture of him because maybe of permission, and maybe it's best not to show...

The next kid we were supposed to visit and to sing him a birthday song was asleep, so didn't wanna wake him up, but the kid next door...

I guess he was really shocked, or never ever received something like this, but whatever it was, it was priceless =)

I guess it's one of those rare moments where kids would rather the opposite other than the expensive thing you've given them~ XD

On the day when we visited him, the following day he started bleeding all of a sudden, and was instantly transfered to the ICU, and the next day.... sigh, he passed away....
as sad as it may be, yet it's another question that may pop out in our mind, why?? Many questions would arise.... but yet it's another fact that reminds us that death is no respector of others, it doesn't care if you're young or old, rich or poor, good or bad, whatever it may be, death would strike every single one of us... and that's a fact...
Sigh... you know, I still wonder why did that child have to die, some might question God why too... but then again, no man can understand the heart and mind of God, no man can wonder why God works in such mysterious ways, but I am happy that now that boy is no longer suffering, and that he is surely in a better place, dancing with the Father in heaven =)
And if those people who came along felt like you did nothing, hey... you made a kid smile, you gave him joy, and I'm sure the half and hour spent with him, it must've been the best moments he ever had in all his 7 years, and I'm sure he appreciates and remembers it~ especially you =]
Ahh... well.... being alive is a gift from God, waking up with a perfect health and not on a hospital bed is a blessing, having things that others lack, it's a blessing... life is precious, life is good, whatever it may be, however it may be, your life might be good it might be bad, but no matter how... live life right, live it without regrets, live it with joy, live it with a smile, live a life that pleases and follows Christ...
Appreciate what you have now, don't take things for granted, appreciate those around you... and in all things... give thanks
And you'll start to see how much your life is worth, and how beautiful life can be...
I hope that none of us would live life recklessly... live life well~
God Bless =)
