Last week during our Pneumatology class... our lecture passed us a rather interesting evaluation thingy... you know it's always a common thing to see all these personality tests and stuff, then once you do it you'll kinda discover and learn things about yourself a bit better??? Well this time it was about discovering our Spiritual Gifts... Ooooooooooooooo =P

Took us quite some time to do it though since it had 110 questions to do... then again since it's all about 22 different gifts, I guess it's only fair??? Donno....

My results??? Well it was rather interesting, wasn't expecting that...

my top 3 dominate gifts out of 11 turned out to be..

1. Music
2. Faith
3.Giving

and when I saw that it was music I thought to myself... "eh?" because I never expected that to come out... because music was never my special gifting, yeah I THINK my guitar skills are just average, but nothing special.... but never expected this to come out...

Of course they had a Spiritual Gifts Guideline also... here's what it says... *ahem*

Music - It is the special gift whereby the Spirit enables certain Christians to praise God through various forms of music and enhance the worship experience of the local congregation.

Faith - It is the special gift whereby the Spirit provides Christians with extraordinary confidence in God's promises, power, and presence so that they can take heroic stands for their future of God's work in the church.

Giving - It is the special gift whereby the Spirit enables certain Christians to offer their material blessings for the work of the church with exceptional willingness, cheerfully and liberality

Kinda interesting isn't it??? Of course I don't wanna be long winded so shall not write about the others... then comes the sub-dominant gifts... heh heh.... my worse one that came out???

Knowledge XD

haha yes I do know I am not smart, but at least my wisdom gift is higher compared to knowledge since I got a 0 for knowledge~!! Haha!!

Then again... test like these can't literally prove what the Spirit really does in one's life, it doesn't mean if mine is music I need to fully commit myself into music and nothing else.... I'm sure as life goes on being a servant of God, things would change, the Spirit would open new doors... who knows?? The order might be reversed 10 years from now~~

But it is an interesting thing to do~ maybe shall share this with the youth one day let them try =)

was hoping I'd get more for Missionary though... but then my lecturer suddenly asked me "you want to be a missionary??" and I said if possible in Japan, then he said he'll make contacts for me...... O.o

Haha oh well, life's something to look forward to in the future =)
