Fish Farm Visitation

Our little visitation to a farm of fishes... or so we thought... =)

MPB MPB MPB field trip outing~!! =)

This time we had a visitation to the fish farm, which is also run by the orphanage house of joy, I guess this can be another testimony on how God helps to provide them in other ways to provide and work for their own finance, which is also good... when the pastor came to share to us about it last year, we were all the more excited to wanna go visit it~ finally today was the day~~

main intention was to meet them at their church, but somehow there was some mis-communication so they were waiting for us at the other site... aiks... so we just waited where we were...
looking at the Kedai Aquarium.... makes you wonder if we've already arrived at the fish farm already anot =)
so... to kill time we just visited the pet shop, what caught our attention was the birds being placed outside the shop~~
Elvis Bird... wonder if need to put gel or anything anot... O.o
This bird ah... wahseh super hamsap I tell you...

When it looked at the girls it literally made the sound "FEEWEET!!!"

then sometimes it'll make the sound "猫仔"

or will make a sharp screech...

Then friend reminded me of his old days when his house was in a mahjong den and they had a bird like that there as his pet... and it ended up learning all the vulgar words there and shooting them all ... =.=

Because that bird has a uniquely annoying gift of mimicking sounds made by the surroundings... so whatever it hears, it can make.... whew... he bought it for Rm200, sold a vulgar version for RM500... Mmmm!! =)

Well wasn't long... then the person arrived, and led the way... we ended up turning into a kampung area... where you can see half naked kids, or nearly naked kids running all over the place, which is a sad sight to see since their all kids XD

But then again we went really, really really REALLY deep in!! I think we were driving for about 20mins in the kampung till we finally arrived...
But before that there was a very narrow road which the van had difficulties to pass through.. but somehow made it la~
When we looked at our surroundings... erm....
forgive me but this looks like a dumpster more...But yeah... we've arrived at the fish farm finally~ =)
BRRRAAAA!!!
after going inside, the people in charged of the area then showed us a video of their ministry so that we can understand a bit more about how it goes and stuff~~

April 99??

The video was a little long so I walked around, and looked through the broken glass window...
emo dog o.o
the roof was a little broken up too though...

But then it's a rundown place, and you can't blame them... since everyone is doing their best, and we appreciate the effort seeing them sweeping and trying to make the place look nice for us... but I don't mind~ feels like home =)

Then I heard a faint noise of something crying... looked back towards the window...
oh hello~ =)
most of the dogs here must be stray dogs, and some had very serious wounds... so they must've either caught a certain disease, or maybe even being abused by other people... but it's good they found shelter here =)
they had a little fish tank... maybe to rear the little baby fishies??

After the talk, then time to venture out~~
I know it's nothing much, but everyone had fun walking~

John with his EF 80-200mm f2.8 lens~ =)
they passed to us fish food to feed the fishes~

and you know this was a scary experience to walk on this little platform with the big camera, I could feel my body shaking as the wind blew... whew

for some others who were nervous, they just stayed where it was safe and gurateed that you would not ever fall unless you have balancing issues~

HUAH!!!

fish food

erm.... well wasn't long till we had to leave since they wanted to show us their other site~~ so we were to take a group picture first~~
ermmm.... hehe... sorry no zoom lens yet~ so only choice was to run nearby them
which is also a problem since the sunlight is shooting from the wrong direction~
only way I guess was to make an artificial HDR image using a single RAW file~ haha... not the best but... you can't complain =)

then... they wanted to bring us to visit their other shops, which was a second hand shop~~
this was on the kampung road when a lorry drove pass and when all the sand flew in the air... warrrrgh!!
then we went to visit the second hand shop, all these clothes were about RM3, they had a variety of items which were second handed, I wanted to buy some to support them... but couldn't find anything I'd like =(

other shops... they had shoes and accessories, which pleased the girls =)

if you're wondering if they made these or not... I don't know... O.o
Jeng jeng jeng~
then we passed to them a love offering, might not be much, but hopefully it'll help in whatever ways that we can ~ =)
then we ended with a prayer for them, that God would surely bless them greatly in their ministry and always be there to help them in their times of need, to provide and always bless =)
Well... that was our little outing to the fish farm...

where's the fishes?? Honestly they were all so hard to photograph, but they are telapia fishes so... yeah you roughly know how they look like already la =)

Hope to see them soon enough, and to go back to the House of Joy someday to meet the children =)
